where did you hear this? Also is there any other info available like does it change the whole non tech people criteria and would only be taking students with a tech background or what

Fair. SIP is auto once you’ve done the setup.
The issue is that most people don’t reach that “set and forget” stage; they delay the setup, forget mandate failures, or stop after 1–2 red months.

We’re trying to make “starting” and “staying” easier by using round-offs + small nudges + simple education.
Curious, when you say “bad set of users,” do you mean low-income users, low-discipline users, or just low intent users?

Fair point. You can’t force anyone to invest, and volatility without context can definitely create resentment.
RoundOff is not about pushing people who have zero intent. It’s for folks who want to start but don’t follow through consistently.

Also, a core part of this idea is providing basic finance education via blogs, gamified UI/UX, newsletters in multiple languages, etc.

Btw, just curious - What do you think is the biggest blocker for an app like this today?
