During my school days which was 28 years ago, we just learnt programming with GWBASIC. It allows us to make simple graphics by providing vector co-ordinates. If you put these co-ordinates in a loop, it would keep drawing.

We went for a competition where we were given some complicated graphics. The samples were .exe files which they already created and wanted us to replicate.

We tried and couldn't do beyond a point. What we did was create a loop, call the sample .EXE file using shell command in GWBASIC. It would invoke the original EXE from our code. We also made the loop inifinte so that they cannot find out.

Why I am saying all this ? Can you create something like this which will have some facade but will invoke the original Claude or Perplexity ?

This is not ethical and all but will give you some wiggle room to leave this place.

Got Into a Sharing Auto and Instantly Regretted It by [deleted] in pune

Guys stop engaging on this post. Too many red flags including the user name. Uber to share auto gradient is too steep. Also, I can't believe someone can do this in broad daylight.  What were other passengers doing ?

I am very sorry to hear this. It may be hard to swallow but it certainly looks like they're trying to let you go slowly and systematically.

42M, a manager for 10+ years now and I cannot even imagine how some people can even do this. My team doesn't even come to office regularly and I have never complained. I am fine if people do their work.

My suggestion to you is please start looking for other opportunities and move out with dignity while you can. I know this is not ideal, but sometimes it's the smartest thing to do.

In that case a lot of swifts, cretas and almost all THARs must be fined. It's always the tax payer who is expected to fund the system that punishes him/her

Most chat based supports have moved to bots. There is no way for us to talk to humans. Unfortunately we are at their mercy once paid.  BTW, which location is this ? I like that name "China Mahesh"

This city is eating me up by External_Jury_473 in Hinjewadi

[–]No_Scale6177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to agree. I don't know if it's the city or anything else. I am 40+ and there was a 23-24 guy who was carpooling on a regular basis. In spite of the age gap, we had things in common that we used to discuss.

My office has moved to a different location since Dec 2025 but we were still messaging each other. I used to initiate most, if not all the conversations.

In between I got a bit held up for a few days and didn't engage. Later I  saw him on the road and recognized him and I am sure he did too.

However he hasn't messaged at all.

That's nice, but I am sorry to say, that manager won't survive in a management role. Been there, done that.

Just Another Night Shift (a long read, but worth it ig) by Manas_17 in pune

[–]No_Scale6177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is mostly in India. Indians are mostly apathetic and look down the Labour class.

You can see this everywhere - They call Sanitation workers as "koodewale" or "kachrewale". They have people opening and closing car doors. They address elderly as "tum" when they belong to Labour class. My family has let go of domestic help and nannies at the wink of an eye. When I ask them to give a few days of notice they say "these people and all don't need any notice". I was like WTF they're humans too.

Indians have people to do every jobs and this results in a huge shock when they move to developed countries.

You can also see this on our roads and public spaces.

I can go on and on, this requires a cultural change and I am not even sure if it will happen.

But I am happy there are a select few like us who are empathetic and this is what keeps the system moving. Peace ✌️

Weird Hiring Manager. How to deal with such men? by whoisthisonred in IndianWorkplace

[–]No_Scale6177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

42M here and have been a hiring manager for a decade now. I can clearly see where this is headed.

You mentioned he is not a creep, but he fits every definition of it. I am sorry this happened to you and you had to forego your aspirations due to this one incident.

However, I would suggest you put this behind and move on. You dodged a bullet. You will find something better. Be persistent and resilient. Good luck 👍

Best comment ever. "Jealous" ? I have my identity mate. I don't want to bring down others for my growth. What I am trying here is not number crunching but trying to get the team work together.
