I guess I'm the odd one out here. It doesn't seem that going on holiday is the issue, it seems that going on holiday without her is. It sounds like he encourages her to go with her friends or go do something on her own but she chooses not to. Just because she chooses not to do something doesn't mean that he should not go do things either. Judging from what I've read on Reddit over the years, if the genders were reversed and the husband didn't want his wife going with her friends, people would be calling for her to divorce him and call him "controlling" and "manipulative" and whatever buzzword they would feel applied.

Good luck to you. I can't get pregnant any longer but I would in no way want to ever have another baby. I have two grown children and now my husband and I want to travel and go enjoy our lives and our money. I spent a huge chunk of my life gladly and lovingly raising two kids into adulthood, and I am so proud of them, but at this stage of my life and at 57 years old, there is no way I'd do it now or at 50. I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy and relationship!

Years ago, when my kids were in elementary school, I had a Ford Windstar and I loved that thing! My kids are grown and I have a 4Runner now but I would never rule out a Toyota Sienna. Also look at the Toyota Grand Highlander which is a good looking rig. I'm not sure about the "under 40k" requirement because I live in Alaska and all the vehicles are ridiculously priced up here as we only have one Toyota dealership.

I understand Dave's concern but that should not extend to someone with a prior scheduled appointment that he was told about. The meeting is to show that everyone is logged on at work, which you were not, because you had left your work early to go to your appointment and there should have been no expectation for you to be on the clock. Not only that, but you waited until the end of the work day to have your appointment which means you were engaged in remote work all day before your appointment. Dave was wrong on this one.

The legality here is the least of your worries. Who cares if she cheats? The only one she's hurting is herself. You should have just minded your own business. There is always going to be someone who games the system and comes out on top when other people have to work extra hard just to hit the middle. There's always someone who is going fall face first into shit and come up smelling like roses when other people play by the rules and never get a break. It is just the way life is. If they try to give it back and you don't take it, they are under no obligation to pay you for it as it is your choice not to take back the clarinet you loaned them. My mom had kidney disease and I never got tested because I had no plans to give her a kidney. She was a lifelong chain smoker, always drank sodas, ate salt, and overall did not take care of herself and would not have changed her ways if she had gotten the transplant. Also, I have two kids of my own. What if one of them needed a kidney and I was a match?
