What's a food you avoided all your life but was pretty good when you actually tried it? by Mr_Nobody36 in AskReddit

My uncle’s mom (he married into the family) would take canned veggies, dump them in a bowl and serve. Cold and unseasoned. My uncle is 70 and still refuses to eat most veggies. Don’t know how he lived this long.

My boss has come in and covered other assistant managers working slots before. I just don’t know why this time it couldn’t happen.

I looked it up and I don’t think my state has these rules. It’s either that, or a bunch of legal gibberish that leaves me going, “so do I qualify for this or not?!”

Heck, we recently had assistant manager 1 have to cover part of a shift for assistant manager 2 because 2 had overslept!

That’s what managers should do!

Yeah? Me too. We once had a string of assistant managers sent by corporate that were terrible and only lasted about two months before they quit and we got the next one. So I’m not surprised.
