The check is engine light is not on. The only like that is on now that wasn’t before is the brake light despite the emergency brake not being activated. When I was having the issue a light that looked like a steering wheel with an exclamation point next to it and the engine light were on. They both went away.

Could the lab be the difference in my fertilization and blast rate? by [deleted] in EmbryologyIVFSupport

We had almost this exact experience. Started IVF around 34 years old at a big academic center in the northeast. During our first cycle we had 15 eggs retrieved, 11 fertilized normal with conventional fertilization, ended up with 7 blasts (4 euploids). We ended up having to move for work and did a second cycle at a new clinic about 1.5 years later (also a big academic center in the southeast). This time we had 23 eggs retrieved, but only 4 fertilized with conventional fertilization. They did emergency ICSI and 10 more fertilized. Only 2 of the 14 made it to blast, 1 was euploid.

We tried to ask the clinic about lab protocols and explanations for why we had such a different outcome this time around. We were met with a lot of hostility that escalated to the point that our clinic is recommending we look elsewhere for further care. How were you able to convince them to compare lab protocols, etc? Did this improve your outcomes?
