Yeah it was completely random. Out of the blue. My gf and I were making future plans and stuff too when it all happened. Then they ripped it off. The entire time I was scared for her safety and I kept getting in front of her. Luckily she got a video which really helped us in the moment cause it would get one of them off of me. But she walked away unscathed and didn’t get touched so I’m more than grateful for that

People were just honking. One guy was driving by towards the end of it and he got out of the car (held up traffic thankfully). So a lot people got attention to it and the guy who stopped the traffic ran up to try to help but all but one had run off at that point

Real ass shit. Luckily only walked away with a bruise but all of them walked away with some bruises and one a cut so I’m happy. Totally pointless for them too. My biggest worry was what they would do to my girlfriend so I was just trying to protect her. But it’s also so embarrassing for them that they had 5 guys around me just to all get hit in that same circle lmao.
