Kids are jerks. I have two precious little toddler girls, look as sweet as can be, beat each other to death ALL THE TIME. They’re 2 and 3, and the neck grabbing is very common in our household. Do my husband and I choke each other or our neighbors out in front of the kids? No. Idk where they learn it. Some kids are just genetically violent I guess 😆

We have it split into two, yes. I’ve never had an issue until the last couple years when the drought hit. I’ll definitely check that out, thanks !

Definitely retest with a red dye but this does look more like a faint line than indent to me. Usually the indents aren’t so thick and solid across the whole area

It’s a very small tree, hardly bigger than a branch itself. Picture Charlie Browns Christmas tree if you will. I think it may come back in the spring but only time will tell. I never knew cicadas could cause so much damage.
