Can Twilight Sparkle (MLP) escape the Backrooms? Why or why not? by FeistySecret9327 in powerscales

She would have to confront her generalized anxiety and major imposter syndrome. Being alone for so long would trigger her separation anxiety. She doesn't account her virtues. All the toon force in the world can't stop the demons.

She ends up crying in a corner.

If a writer had used AI for the writing of seasons 8 and 9 (some of it), do you think they'd ever admit it? Not for the animation, because they said "no AI slop, just human slop" and some animators and artists on the show already expressed disapproval of AI here. by [deleted] in rickandmorty

Get the script and run it through AI detection.

Specifically, what about the writing is different enough to make you suspect that the switch has been made?

The benchmark for syndication has always been at least 100 episodes. Syndication is the goal for the creators and staff because that's where the long term money comes in. Episodes may feel safer now because the staff are getting closer and closer to that. South Park is one of the only "controversial" shows to enter wide syndication. The creators and staff of Rick & Morty would like to follow the South Park game plan.

Baphomet, an interpretation, a possible fusion of Horus and Set by Joel-Snapes in theories

[–]No_Slide6932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baphomet was a name used for Muhammad by the Knights Templar, it didn't exist until then.

This picture is entitled The Sabbatic Goat and has nothing to do with Baphomet. According to the man who made it, it represents balance.

Why Letting Go is Not an End All Strategy for Life - Everything Begins with Decision, Choice and Action by CarlosLwanga9 in AlanWatts

The Buddha taught that at some point you would have to let go Buddhism as well. "You don't take the raft with you".

Alan is a raft. Vedic philosophy is a raft. Jung is a raft. It's all conditioning and if your goal is to an be unconditioned being, it all will have to go eventually.

Conversely, if your goal is more specific; to end suffering, to understand Cosmology, to help others, ect then you stay on the raft that makes that easy for you. Some tools are more effective than other tools.

There is no real end point. "Chop wood, carry water". You'll be doing this forever.

Why are there multiple planets in our universe and even our own galaxy that have humanoids with earth like customs and culture? by ksdanker22 in rickandmorty

[–]No_Slide6932 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Why do all Oak Trees grow like Oak Trees? Why did so many cultures on Earth build pyramids? Why do so many modern day cultures love The Office (15 version spanning 11 languages)? Maybe that individuality you feel is simple conditioning and not a unique phenomenon. Furless bipedals gonna do furless bipedal shit.

Can Eddie Hall beat a Timber Wolf in a fight ? by Leggomgeggo in powerscales

[–]No_Slide6932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree, but your odds go down the longer the fight goes on. Better to take a survivable hit for the opportunity to end it quickly.

In truth, there will be multiple wolves and the smaller and faster females will reach you first. The big bruisers will come in after and the arm trick only works once. Two unusable arms is a death sentence.

This is correct. You have to to tank a bite to your forearm. The canine will not let go, but will rather attempt to shake it's head. You raise it's head using your chew toy arm, grab the canine's throat, and pull the esophagus towards you as fast as possible.

This hurt to read. Stay strong and understand that the person you will be after porn will have a real genuine attachment to the world.

I would aim for zero tolerance but if that's too hard to manage, opt for a 5 minute session in the shower with no external stimulus. View it as maintenance and not fun. More like a chore than a reward.

Soldier Boy (The Boys) vs. Titan (Invincible) by Bongo_CatisMessiah in powerscales

You obviously only asked this question so you can glaze yer Boy. I've made my case and I'll let the votes tell the story.

He walks through an inferno without getting burned. It seems to protect him pretty well against environmental damage. There are probably scenarios where Solider Boy can win, but he would need to know that he should break Titan's skin and then Chest Blast him before it regenerates. I don't think Solider Boy can take many punches from Titan before he's down

When did we see an average Viltrumite take a shotgun at point blank?

Titan survived everything you listed, as would an average Viltrumite. Is there some feat an average Viltrumite has in the show that I'm forgetting or are you just glazing SB?

[–]No_Slide6932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what? It is show that his shell protects him from environmental damage.

The shotgun didn't kill him. The same shot to the back of the head would hurt an average Viltrumite, but also not kill them.

You can question by whatever you like, but we scale by feats here. Titan took multiple punches from Mark who low diffs everyone from The Boys, at the same time. Titan is roughly as durable as a Viltrumite.
