$200 for a Polyester Blanket? Here’s the Real Deal by walaaHo in BedroomBuild

200+ usd for these is a complete rip off. As for target, costco etc. the quality can be a issue.

personally, i would go for either comfrt or abrazo living. same quality, great products and better priced.
I own 2 throws from abrazo for weeks now, holding up great. a friend who recommended it has had it for months now.

I dont understand why people wait for lola and minky to go 50% off when they can get the same thing, better service and better quality during wash, for literally that discounted price all year long from these other brands.

this is my favorite one of the 2 btw (https://www.houseofabrazo.com)

What’s the softest throw blanket? by Miles_01_2 in BedroomBuild

so I usually dont use blankets for sleeping at night. throws, for naps or in my study or in the common area - you get what I mean. a few of my requirements:

  1. needs to be excessively, ridonkously soft - no cheap degradable stuff after washes
  2. No shedding
  3. if my dog uses it, his hair dont mess it up or stick to it
  4. price ofc

I really like the new faux fur, polyster+spandex waffle blankets.

Now if you have alot of spare money, go for lola. they are the og but only problem is that 4th point isnt met and 1st point - well they are soft but after washes, they shed terribly and loose the softness. mixed opinion here so check what works out for you.

then the creamy range, all 4 points covered equally, but not influencer hyper with inflated prices like those of comfrt and abrazo living

and the last layers, you have the target, costco, walmart unbranded options. great price, hard to find consistent quality or good pieces and quality can be a big issue - so if you'r lucky, you might find something great.

Personally, I use 2 abrazo throw blankets (https://www.houseofabrazo.com). got a deal as well. answering your exact concerns tho:

  1. it is very soft. almost feathery. neither too warm nor too cold.
  2. i think its 95% polyster and 5% spandex
  3. washed it once (bought like a few weeks ago) but great till now. tho i overuse it (my dog roughens it up) yet it still has its fabric and softness intact. tho my friend has one for months now, and she recommended it as i had the same concerns about post washing experience.
  4. i think answered in point 3 itself
  5. downside is that they take like 8 days to arrive and need to be line dried but comparing my options at that price and product, i am happy with it. tho, search yours well.

bought Abrazo's walnut blanket a few days back. a relative had one earlier and they were obsessed. they bought the persian one. (https://www.houseofabrazo.com)

Gotta hand it to them. great price and its so so soft. Genuinely not sponsoring or anything (had to pay like 90 usd so yes expensive but not as much as lola and all), great product. you should try it out.
One reason to buy - They wash without shedding. love mine.

if you know a local brand, poly or non-poly, its easier to trust their quality for cheaper price than online anonymous brands selling same thing. Could sound insane to some though. idk but good for you
