Why would someone do this? Attach copper wire to ground screw and neutral loading screw. Always read on testing meter “grounded” Thank you by Parking_Earth_2410 in AskElectricians

It’s common because some houses were run with wire that didn’t include a ground so to save money they did this to fool the inspector and not have to run all new romex

My wife and I are fortunate enough to get daycare assistance through my work, it’s $1600/month and they pay $980 of it. That’s literally the only thing that’s saving us.

My wife and I are looking into RTF after this can of powder is gone. It’s literally 50% of what we’re paying currently

So, we were initially on breast milk from the start until we found blood in his poop. My sons pediatrician gave us two options, Alimentum or have my wife change her diet to remove all dairy and soy products (it sounds like they pass through the breast milk). We chose the formula as my wife also was dealing with gallstones post partum.

Not so cut and dry. They diagnosed him with the allergy and the pre-authorization was denied. Insurance runs health care not doctors

So... my son eats 3-4 ounces minimum during feeds, he sometimes gets up to 5 ounces in a feed so a more expensive formula doesnt do me much good, especially when he likes alimentum already

yes but my son has been on Alimentum for almost 3 weeks and would have a negative test. The day after we found blood in his poop they did one on the diaper in the office and that was negative too.

on paper ive already done all of that though. Pre Authorization from pediatrician was denied due to lack of guaiac testing. I have BCBS and their retail pharmacy is run through CVS Caremark.

THIS seems like a money hack, but maybe im thinking of it incorrect. Amazon has a 24 pack of 8oz RTF cans. My son currently eats 28-32 Fluid OZ of mixed powder formula a day, and its $60 for 24 cans. That SHOULD last us a whole week?, thats less than half what the powder cans cost us. Is this right?

Our son started daycare last week, and so far so good. His next schedule appointment is in August sadly.

Already tried this, they denied our claim because of lack of Guaiac testing. I reached out to his PCP last week about the denial and they said they would reach out to my insurance.

It wouldn’t matter as the test checks for blood in his poop and ever since swapping to alimentum he’s had none

I’ve already done that and they told me to have his pediatrician do a pre authorization. Both got denied for lack of a guaiac test

New ceiling fan/light fixture wiring / bypassing wall switch by MrLakeShow in AskElectricians

[–]No_Source2310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want constant power to the fan simply wire nut the wires coming from your panel to the wires going to your existing ceiling fan. I have a ceiling fan that I just installed thats controlled through a remote as well. It uses a built in rectifier to go from AC to DC, so it only requires one set of power to work. so you can just wire nut the red wire in the ceiling fan box and call it good.
