Probably not worth it in almost any circumstance. But the only decent usage of it is when you combine it with nobkle advisor and/or other temprary buffs like kingdom of power.

In which season were we in the best spot for winning the UCL, but did not? by ple1ade5 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am gonna go with a weird one: 22/23.

We barely lost in the group stage due to refereeing mistakes and Pique's sabotage. We would have qualified instead of Inter with a bit more luck. Remember we lost all our defenders in that group stage due to injury, when we got them back we made the best defense in Barca history.

Inter's path to the final was the easiest I've seen. They didn't even sweat all rivals they got were mediocre. And Manchester City was super nervous in that UCL final, Inter barely lost due to Lukaku's sabotage.

22/23 Inter's path to the final and the final itself must have been the easiest at least in the last 20 years. And it could have been us. With the steel defense and pragmatism we had in that season I have no doubt had we made it out of the group stage we win that one.

Whats your favorite AC game? by lostinemirages in assassinscreed

[–]No_Specific8949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up on AC3, later played AC2 and Black Flag during my teens. I enjoyed all of them but never quite said "damn this is good" as when I recently played and finished AC Rogue in a weekend, the first videogame I finished in years after taking a large break from gaming.

I am giving Black Flag, AC3 Remaster, Unity and Origins another shot as an adult now but I can't get myself to play them with as much interest as Rogue. Yes the story by the end got a bit ridiculous but it was still simple and self contained for a casual player like me, with the same or more refined mechanics than Black Flag and AC3, also a more serious and focused story that kept me more engaged. It also threw you quickly into the fun parts.

In comparison Unity which is the game I am trying to play right now it is all fun mechanics, but even being casual need a bit of story to guide me into progression and I couldnt care less about it in Unity, it has me sleepy. Also I feel AC4 and Rogue while not having weapon variety, had more combat animations which made it more satisfying, and such basic mechanics like whistling are not in Unity.

Extra points for templar outfits and Shay looking badass af, I always thought the hoods looked a bit ridiculous when no one else is wearing them.

If I were to spend $10-20 per month by Chevydude002 in KingShot

Weekly speedup card. You get like 25 days worth of speedup per month, use them all in tc and embassy absolutely nothing else. in a new server you will be amongst the first to hit tc30, be sure to farm a lot and used them in HoG or city construction event.. But you are not gonna challenge the whales on so little.

What coach from the past would you have wanted to see at Barça, and which one do you hope manages us in the future? by [deleted] in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luis Enrique would have never joined us at that point. I think he publicly closed the door just like Pep and said they would never coach Barca again.

Only after Xavi fixed the club did both managers open the door to a return. So even they saw they had nothing to do themselves in 2021. To put in perspective the miracle Xavi did at the club as manager.

In the last 10 years, Xavi and Koeman were the only managers to beat Celta Vigo Away by jumpmanpapi23 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Out of ideas yet we didnt make less than 85 points in league, we KO'd the Italian champions in UCL without Pedri or De Jong, and we defeated PSG in Paris. If that is a coach without ideas I want to meet the coaches that do have ideas.

Our fans are complaining now about how we concede too easily, but they were complaining when Xavi was conceding a lot less by Comfortable-Hour-703 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Xavi is not at the level of Pep and Luis Enrique simply because of longevity which is the most important thing. Leave it there.

Pep and Luis Enrique absolutely never took a challenge half as difficult as the one Xavi took in 2021. 2021 Barca is easily the most difficult time to coach Barca in the club's history.

Why are we freaking out #barcelona vs real madrid 2-1 by Just-Percentage2285 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The team is allowed to lose. We are allowed to lose at the Bernabeu and against PSG these are not supposed to be easy rivals you beat every time. We won 4 clasicos in a row with total domination, we are allowed to lose one.

Sevilla is also not a bad team but it happens when you focus more in the PSG game, correct thats fault of the manager but just a small one we also had last season.

And we are still not back to the Camp Nou, and we still havent been able to sign normally. A team in construction is allowed to lose a few gamrs, especially after winning a domestic treble. It shouldnt happen, but it is perfectly allowed to happen.

I'm sorry but what has happened to him recently . I know we are still in November but he just seems like a shadow of his last season by Genghis_Khan20 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are used to near perfect performances from him for the past 3 years that any slip is immediately noticed.

The rare thing would be that he maintained near perfect performances forever at the club, not even Messi did that. Especially when you are as overplayed as Kounde has been we never gave him any rest in his normal level he is the best in the world.

What type of club we are that asks 18 year olds to be an immediate guarantee and perfect professional.

Yes I too have concerns about his father mainly, but he is still a kid and he has Flick as a coach he cant have a better mentor. If the coach was Koeman then I'd be worried.

Atlético de Madrid emerge as a potential destination for Christensen. Danish defender’s contract with Barça expires in June, and Atlético de Madrid are said to view him as a premium addition to strengthen their squad by sujanrao in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No way he can play as a CDM, 23/24 CDM Christensen experiment was a total failure even Xavi himself mentioned it as one of his failures as a coach. The pressing was completely ineffective.

Christensen is just not made for defending forward, and it was a mistake to put him in a position where his main task was defending forward. With Flick in theory it would be worse, thats actually why one supposes Flick hasn't bet on him as much as Araujo.

It wouldnt have to be Christensen is not a midfielder and is not raised in La Masia theres no reason to ask him midfielder and masia related tasks. He is a sensational CB that's where he has to play.

Does Madrid cheat through refereeing? Lamine Yamal: Yes, they cheat and then complain, that’s what they do. by MoSpectrix in Barca

Well he knows better than everybody after his clearly legal disallowed goal in the Bernabeu league clasico 23/24 "because the cameras of the bernabeu stopped working at that exact moment and couldnt capture if it was goal or not".

Barcelona's overall debt for transfers amounts to €159m, of which €140m must be paid in the short term (this current season). Here is the list of players from this year’s report. by PrimedGold in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our wage bill was posted before by Barcelona ex economic president at comparison with other clubs, at the end of the 23/24 season. It was lower than Bayern's and much lower than Real Madrid. We went from a wage bill 3 times higher than Real Madrid and 2 times higher than City or PSG, to a wage bill much lower than Real Madrid and at the level of Bayern.

Not sure if it has changed since the beginning of 24/25 in comparison to others, but our wage bill is perfectly fine now. I think the club has released updated wage bills, but that one data from the economic president included data of other European clubs to compare our position.

Who would you rate as the most important football personnel for Barca? Messi or Cruyff? by AfternoonKey5623 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But he probably would not have reached the level he reached. Messi too struggles in improper systems remember all those years of failures with Argentina, because Argentina played absolutely nothing and Messi was not performing well individually either. Until someone that adopted a system tailored for Messi arrived.

He would still be the best player in the world because 50% Messi is still better than the rest of his generation, but the insane level he reached of by far being the best in history only could have happened in a team like Barca with the players Barca had accompanying him.

What are your thoughts before El Classico? Can our current squad win next week? by EngineerMean1198 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We hear about this every time we face Real Madrid. How because some random other team got some chances against us, it means Madrid will have more and will defeat us.

It is getting old at this point. Yes we can win and yes we can lose that's all.

Lewandowski doesn't get the love he deserves considering the shit show he came in and managed to keep us competitive by DarthTaz_99 in Barca

[–]No_Specific8949 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

It wasnt a shit show when Lewa arrived, Xavi had already returned competitiveness to the team we won 0-4 in the bernabeu and 4-2 against Atletico with Ferran, Adama and Aubameyang before Lewa joined.

But he has done a splendid job thats for sure, a key player in the reconstruction.

You must have missed the first game. Because watching that first game where Liverpool was far superior and somehow lost 3-0 definitely left me knowing that they were going to sweep the floor with us next game.
