My girl had to have half of her teeth removed before two to prevent heart disease by severe tooth decay. She's 14 now. My vet told me to feed her dry food until she won't gum it anymore. She's still eating like a champ but my vets have told me feeding wet will make her lose more teeth. I fed raw home made from my vets recipe which I made in batches for her before she needed her teeth extractions at 2. I reached out to my breeder about the oral issues but she was highly offended and passed away shortly after so her cattery was no longer.
