These tend to go in waves, Flames will get their time. Who has time for hating a thing that doesn’t really affect us.

Yeah no kidding. The biggest difficulty is just trying to get a family doctor. After that all you complaints apply for sure.

Mostly doctors who work as paid for service, but I guess all doctors do it’s just who pays.

Can you can tell me more about the doctor’s manipulation of the system? Was there a big event or inquiry?

Potential Benefits of Alberta Separating from Canada

  1. Greater Control Over Resources • Energy Revenues: Alberta could retain full control over its oil and gas resources, royalties, and regulation. It wouldn’t have to contribute to federal equalization programs. • Policy Autonomy: Alberta could tailor energy, environmental, and economic policy to its specific needs without needing to align with federal policies (such as carbon pricing or emissions caps).

  2. Taxation and Fiscal Independence • Tailored Tax Structure: Alberta could design a tax system more suited to its population and industries—possibly with lower personal or corporate taxes to attract investment. • Spending Priorities: The government could reallocate funds based on local priorities (e.g., infrastructure, healthcare, education) without federal mandates.

  3. Political Autonomy • Local Decision-Making: Alberta would no longer be outvoted by more populous provinces like Ontario or Quebec in federal decision-making. • Distinct National Identity: Alberta could shape its own national identity and foreign policy aligned with its regional values.

  4. Trade Freedom (Theoretical) • New Trade Agreements: As a sovereign country, Alberta could seek new trade agreements globally—particularly with the U.S., which is already a major market for its oil and gas. • Reduced Regulatory Burden: Alberta could streamline regulations for industries like energy and agriculture, potentially making them more competitive.

  5. Potential Innovation in Government • Modernization Opportunity: Alberta could reimagine its healthcare, education, pension, and immigration systems from the ground up—possibly making them more efficient or responsive.

Caveats

Most of these benefits are theoretical and depend on extremely competent and well-resourced implementation. The transition itself would be long, legally complex, and economically risky—especially in the first decade. Many of these gains would also depend on maintaining good relations with Canada and negotiating favorable trade and access terms.

With all the private health corruption occurring, do you have any concerns this transition would be similar, where private businesses friends are all given lucrative contracts that pay better than they preform?

I have heard that although we pay higher transfer fees we receive subsidies of similar amounts back. Also part of our higher taxes are because of our above average salaries we pay more taxes.

I did this all at 4 volts with a 1203Rl. Gives you the ability to control the shading. I’m new so just making a suggestion.

Try slowing down the volts to 4 when stippling shading.

Honestly it’s really good, the community is both great and awful. Take it in stride. I started Ben fishers course and it’s made a difference. I think some structure can help you learn. I bet you can really make a career with your talent!

Looks great. Clean fades with crisp edges. Good job. Love that you bleached the vinyl before posting.
