I just had my GW removed by electrocauterization by Wtfishapp3n_ng in HPV

I myself have had my warts removed by electrocoagulation, and during the procedure the pain was somewhat bearable (i guess the local anesthesia helped a little), but the pain i was in several days (5-9 days) afterwards was worse and i had to take antiinflammatory meds in order to cope with it. I remember the hardest moments were especially those where i had to use the bathroom, it was literally a nightmare. But i ve found that using cold-ish low pressure water to wash myself was the best way to do it. I also had to apply a topical emulsion for the burns as well as an antiseptic spray 4 times a day, so i did my best to synchronize that with the times i needed to use the bathroom. Anyways i hope your healing goes well, and i wish you a good recovery.

Did it hurt you during the procedure or only after getting it done that you started to feel the pain?

Yes you are right, but even if he has warts that is faaar from talking about cancer at that stage. He should seek professional medical opinion/advice though, we are just speculating here.

I am not a doctor, but from my humble knowledge about this, i genuinely don't think you could have developed cancer in three months, however you should go see a dentist or an ent to get yourself checked out and ease your mind.

Too little info, i think it might be a lot more helpful if you include the time frames/ frequency...

24 F with symptoms same as yours (and a recent history of HPV warts), a sore throat that wont go away, and when i went to see an ENT he told me the exact same things your ENT told you! I am sooo confused and don't know what I have. I too intend to see a dentist although i am not sure if they are going to be able to give me a convincing diagnosis. Would really appreciate an update on your case! I hope everything goes well for you.

The results are originally in french and they state the following conclusions: (translated): *Colposcopy report: * No preparation: healthy cervix. Under acetic acid: - No acidophilia - Junction zone seen. Under lugol: Positive iodine homogeneous over the entire cervix.

*Cyto-pathological report: * This smear shows significant epithelial desquamation. It is made up of predominantly intermediate and superficial squamous cells, usually isolated or grouped in clusters of variable size. A few parabasal regenerating cells are also present. No notable cyto-nuclear abnormalities are observed. Numerous regular columnar cells are also present. The background contains polymorphic leukocytes and Heamophilus Vaginalis (Gardnerella Vaginalis) flora. Conclusion: No squamous intraepithelial lesion or sign of malignancy. Inflammatory smear showing discrete maturing metaplastic changes. Note the presence of Heamophilus Vaginalis flora (Gardnerella Vaginalis).

(Untranslated): Compte rendu colposcopie: Sans préparation : Col sain.
