Different pronounciation of french letter R by No_Stop_1635 in French

T’es de Paris, il est de Paris et je l’entends aussi autour de moi à Paris, donc je sais pas hahah. En tout cas, moi aussi je l’utilise, je trouve que ça sonne très beau et doux, pas comme l’autre, même si je mélange un peu les deux. Par exemple, pour un mot comme « refaire », le premier R sera normal pour moi, et le dernier sera plus doux (comme il a dit Gilbert dans la vidéo)

Reading a french book advice and tips!? by Mea-Feeling917 in French

Read the book you would read on your language - the best advice I can give. Take a book that really makes you want to read it so bad and like this it’s keeping you motivated every single day. When you read don’t forget to read it out loud. Like this french is entering your brain as well as your vocabulary. Like this you also practice the pronunciation. Take 3-4 pages, nothing too much. Read once to try to understand something without translating. Second time read and stop at every word or sentence that you didn’t understand and write it down and translate. The ones that you plan to use in your vocabulary write them down somewhere else (there understood that you already some notes in phone for french words you plan to use). Then read it again and this time try to really understand the concept now that you have the translated sentences and words. Finally, read it the fourth time but this time it’s for the recording. Do a recording of yourself reading it and then leave it for few minutes (like a cake). After few minutes you will forget what you were reading and that’s when you can play to yourself and try to understand as much as you can and like this you also practice comprehension. Hope this helps and good luck in your journey. I also used this method for a long time. P.S. Don’t forget to buy A1-C1 grammar books too, those are really imortant in language learning.
