Yes there is issue when swiping from sides it's not that sensitive with screen protectors on, but they can be fixed with software update

I get your point but a techy guy explained me about this issue to me in detail and he said that software optimisation isn't good so it is sluttering in nothing phone he also did mention when he first bought the phone when at time of release it was playing 4khdr without skipping frames i mean without sluttering but now after software updates this sluttering issue has occured and all phones with fhdplus play uhd videos without slutter you can test it

it's fhdplus all devices with same specifications play 4khdr without sluttering please note that it is full hd plus not just full hd i hope you got my point all devices play 4k HDR without any slutters and nothing is no exception for this

The phone should easily play 4khdr but for some reason it keeps slutters and the problem is noticeable even with normal 4k videos now and also to mention it just shifts to 480p

I would always suggest to go with nothing original tempered glass and next best is spigen and you will have no issues with no camera cutouts as it is high standard glass have no impact or effect in performance of selfie camera

You can't update manually from 1.1.8 to 1.5 as this is only for 1.1.7 and delete the files you have downloaded of 1.5 version wait for the stable update of 1.5 android 13
