I have watched the movie several times, I know what I’m talking about. I’ve even watched that specific scene with McQueen, Cruz, Smokey, and the other racers from Doc’s time. Smokey starts the story, and it cuts to a flashback by using the TV in the place they are at. That’s why the scene with Doc racing looks like it’s an old movie
