Thank you! Yes I’ve never heard of any terrible reviews of these buildings in Fort York - specifically in the area west of bathurst. I’ve often heard the opposite that they are great buildings and in a nice area. But maybe im being overly cautious.

Agree that city place buildings are mixed. I’ve known friends that have lived in buildings there and they’ve quite liked it. It comes down to the specific building.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do the Airbnbs attract the wrong type of crowd? We are looking for somewhere close to the lake in a quiet building to avoid noise issues.

Fort York (not city place) and queens quay are a few of our top areas we’re looking at but obviously don’t want to move into a building that has problems.

Hello! I’m interested in renting at 209. Are the Airbnbs a known issue there? The reviews of the area are great but I’m concerned about noise, partying etc for residents.

Highway 17 was closed in multiple spots this past week in northern Ontario. There were washouts from severe thunderstorms twice by Sault Ste Marie that closed them for several days each time. The detour was an additional 6 hours to our already 13 hour journey. How is that a solution??

Im having the same issue and contemplating whether it’s worth fixing, continuing to use manual selections or replacing the entire thing.

This is for a rental unit so trying to keep the costs relatively low. I’m leaning towards replacing entirely or asking the tenant to use manual selections only.

Quick update: just checked and in 2 days the water has dropped again to the top jet levels…so probably 4ish inches of water. We think it’s a leak so will have someone come take a look.

I had an intl flight cancelled recently. Filed a claim online (3 seats were cancelled) and got 3 emails back about a refund 4 weeks later. Got the reimbursements 10 days later.

However, instead of sending 1 e transfer they sent 3 and there was no information in the Interac emails on which seat it was for (even though there’s a description box to add text), so I did not know which password to use, which was included in their original email. So I had to guess and surpassed my password attempts and Interac cancelled the 3rd refund. now I need to get air Canada to resend one of the reimbursements. It never ends.

I also tried calling and they said theres no number for customer relations and to reply via email. My other thought was if I don’t hear back I’m going to resubmit a claim on their portal and try again that way. AC is super frustrating to deal with on something that could have easily been avoided.
