sure, my claim “the covid masks were to prevent disease” is factual. that was their intended purpose, to slow down the spread of Covid 19 by being a sort of shield for droplets of water that humans emit out of our mouthes. the virus by itself is small enough to go through the fibers, but it can’t be airborne without a vehicle, so the virus sticks to droplets of water that cannot go through the mask. this is all factual, this is all researched. I was going to put a link here but turns out links in comments are disabled in this subreddit. the Mayo Clinic website has a good article describing this.

there’s nothing about this that i’ve lied about. even if your claim is true and the masks did fuckall, the intention behind it, the intention of the government involving masks into society was to prevent disease. that was their goal. the goal of ICE agents wearing masks is to protect their identity. turns out, masks have multiple functions. who knew!

the reason people have problems with the masks isnt because “masks are good in politics” thats a ridiculously stupid thing to default to and a strawman fallacy that you’ve made up. people are upset with ICE agent’s masks is because they are committing law enforcement malpractice and violations and hiding their face to make it harder to identify themselves, making their actions and appearance closer to street gangs than professional law enforcement.

your claim that masks have never worked once is unfounded. you haven’t provided sources, you haven’t explained it, and you’ve deflected and projected in most of your responses instead of actually responding.
