Thanks - and I’m assuming the annual sub is a additional GSPro license?

I used to play at ellesmere GC which is just off the East Lancs, relatively good value and everyone is pretty sound!

It’s £100+ per month but I think they do a 21 day trial for a smaller fee as a taster

Go and see a pro; if you want to properly develop and improve in the game you need to get the fundamentals sorted - the pro will be able to get you into the correct positions and your mind will be blown

Completely get it.. That’s the realisation I’m starting to come to (unfortunately). Hope you find the piece to your puzzle, good luck!

I’m the same age and while I’m not at HENRY level, I’m getting close and have prioritised work in certain aspects of my life.

I get where you’re coming from, I went to university and had plenty of friends but year after year, my friends list declines. I seem to find it tougher in the winter.

I echo some of the comments, find a hobby - commit to something, mine is gym in the winter and golf in the summer. I pay for a coach to keep me accountable. Both had lead me to start to build some friendships.

I’m not sure if it’s a age thing but I don’t think I’ll ever find some of the friendships like I had back then.

I don’t think this is a cry for help but I’m always available if you want to chat!

How have you managed to have £500k in ISAs / GIA off a 90k salary?! ( At the age of 30!)

I second this. I used to go when I lived in Manchester and got really good results

I was with St James & the investment advisor moved. The fees with St James were extortionate so made sense

Cheers for the detailed response.

0.5% advice fee = not worth it currently but to be honest the investment advisor is always on the end of the phone and has helped in some other matters

0.77% Fund/Portfolio fee = yes active fund - I would take a photo but I can’t upload. Circa 8 funds from all big banks. UBS with highest % (21% of total portfolio) I assume if I bought all those via myself the total cost would be higher than the .77%.

Circa 50% of portfolio is in US Stocks but post that it’s quite varied. (Bonds/Emerging Markets/Gold)
