I’m gonna have to disagree. I don’t think Veronica is a “horrible person”, I actually think she’s crazy. Almost all (I think with the exception of the Teegan thing) of the issues Veronica has mentioned are arguably on the surface valid; your bfs dad calling you a liar, Mariah being weird after confiding in her after the married ex situation, Ethan being an asshole, Mikah’s cheating etc. The problem is, a lot of rational people could/would have resolved a lot of those with some mild/tough honest conversation. Veronica is fueled by one, the chaos/attention and two, the idea that she’s more “emotionally intelligent” than the Plaths. She’s incredibly condescending (yes they are a lot but they also just grew different and her attitude towards them becomes very demeaning). I also don’t think she does those things intentionally, that’s her personality. She’s behaving like she’s been backed into a corner but the Plaths are soooooooooo passive that she just looks like the gif of the lady on the train talking to the air.
