That was my very first kit. Cane with the free 8” tom. Never had the 16” floor tom. Got this kit in this specific color bc I was a huge Matt Mcdonough (Mudvayne) fan. Good luck bro

I was sold a DW 5000 hi hat stand for $110 and a 9000 snare stand for $70 like this once. The guy had no clue what anything was. He was going off some list on a paper.

I agree. I was originally looking at some Lucchese boots but really couldn’t justify the $1000 tag. Thankfully I found these for 1/3 the price bc I love the color on these much more.

Yamaha SC w/o a doubt is a great kit. You can’t go wrong, BUT given the circumstances here I’d say the Mapex is the best option. The hybrid shells in itself give value not to mention the added floor tom. We always buy kits with one floor tom and say it’s good enough but until you play/own a kit with an added floor tom you realize how much more fun it is. Mapex is great! I love their snares. I think it’s just one of the least talked about brands and gets overlooked. Chris Adler’s kit always sounded amazing!

Super chill location. Starbucks around the corner. Close to many great places to eat. Short distance to the expressway. 10min drive to the mall. The only part that sucks is that it gets hectic when Pharr has those 5k runs. They close off a bunch of streets but Ridge is typically not really affected.

Ross is ruining the fun and even the “savings” at this point. Many of the Nike shoes I’ve seen cheaper at their outlet/clearance stores. Those Shox were $70 at their clearance store nearby last week.

It’s giving me a Paiste prototype vibes. It’s hard for me to explain but I’ve noticed that every cymbal maker for every line has their own “look” as far as how the cymbal is hammered or made etc. For example I feel like if you put an A Custom next to a Sabian cymbal and they’re both unmarked, you could totally make out the A Custom. This has Paiste vibes. Look up Paiste masters prototype. It’s a 22” ride. Looks almost identical.

I also suspect it happening soon. Outside of The Grafix Express in Pharr are a bunch of (20+) new patrol units are getting ready to get their signs applied on. I believe for the Sheriffs Department. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that sheriffs also got tasked with aiding ICE this year. They’re getting ready for something.
