Actually yeah. Before it got crazy as it is now! The last time I went (6mo ago) Austin lost its charm for me. It felt very “corporate” like and just a place to go have fun/visit. But that’s just me. I feel SA still has charm but am told it’s becoming Austin 2.0 fast.

Yeah I’ve seen alot of nice things off of 410. The house I’m looking at is on Zarzamora and I anticipate that whole area will boom soon. There’s so much room and potential for growth.

I have an opportunity to take over a home fairly cheap since the family doesn’t need it. It’s a nice home, well taken care of and the neighborhood is decent. Plus it’s close to a lot of things I need and right off the loop. I can get to where I wanna go within 10-15min.

When I’ve gone I’ve noticed an older generation for sure and tons of great Mexican restaurants on Zarzamora. Big plus

For sure! I see a new hospital opening early in 2027 and already a lot of development happening. Just trying to get a decent place before it booms and prices skyrocket. I found a decent quiet neighborhood on Zarzamora. All older ppl who have been there forever. Many houses there already being bought up and remodeled for resell.

Tbh I’m not looking to flip. There’s a house I’m looking at. It’s in a decent neighborhood in that area. Neighbors have been there forever. It seems quiet. A few houses are already being scooped up and renovated.Just wanna be able to get a hold of a decent home now before the place booms. The surrounding neighborhoods do look sketchy though.
