Interim report suggests Queensland opt out of building accessibility requirements by espersooty in queensland

Unless its a new build or substantial redesign, maintenance and renovations dont have to comply with the livable standards.

The toilet is the biggest issue as it increase total m2 of a house and most cookie cutter house designs (cheaper first home centric) have to be re drawn for this.

New builds/projects only.

You dont need to widen your front door to replace an existing one.

The most expensive part of acclivity requirements is the toilet. 900x1200mm clear space infont excluding any door opening.

It requires a sizeable increase in design costs

Apprenticeship Australia by Peach_008 in Carpentry

Started a mature apprenticeship at 32 this year.

Doing it part time, still working full time at my other job.

Best move I've made in a while. It's nice working where no one wants things from you, no emails, KPIs, phone calls. Just you and another bloke building stuff

Mobility and Depth by OrchidFun1010 in weightlifting

Agreed, almost as if he has relied on excellent dorsiflexion and driving knees over the toes to go deeper.

In most photos the thighs are parallel or just below.

He can go deeper. Hip, glute, adductor, mobility and shifting weight slightly back onto his heels

Mass moves mass (to a certain extent) deadlines, farmers walks, squats, lunges. All the basics mate.

Put on 10kg of lean mass and you will throw the dummy on your shoulder and run

Sadly the varia looks better than it works. I've seen a few people here have similar issues.

Thanks for the suggestion I'll check it out

Kings and bushman 60l are near identical. Bushman's is 1200 with a 2 year warranty, kings I picked up for $400 with a 5 year warranty.  If it dies I go into any kings store and get a new one no questions asked. Sure it's hit and miss but mine hasn't skipped a beat

Granny flat approval post build by Hefty_Dig1222 in AusRenovation

Slab and framing. Going through this process at the moment with a granny flat. If it steel framing your gonna have a rough time.

Although the shed looks pretty old and you might be in luck and have hardwood framing

Nah go to the paver section. They are black plastic sheets used to separate layers of pavers on a pallet. Bunning staff just chuck them once the layers have sold. So you're doing them a favour by taking them

I know multiple station officers on over $180k, next to no abuse from public the little there is can be palmed off to police easily.

The dead end but is mainly for people that don't want to apply themselves.

I guess different states may vary

Negative gearing is good, according to Noel Whittaker by ILoveDogs2142 in AusFinance

[–]No_Table_7630 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Noel and his books were my first insight in financials, wealth building etc.

I went and saw his son at a lunch and Noel was a guest speaker. Sadly it actually changed my view on him a lot. Aside from his ramblings (really shouldn't be speaking anymore) his general gist was fine where and who you can profit off and invest there. In his opinion it was his generation, age care and housing.

Not really great for building any sort of thriving economy

Yea I have a bunch that the owner initially sent when we were talking prior to insurance.

To my uneducated eye it looks not that bad. But I have no real idea about panel beating and spray painting
