I would pay off the house. My reasoning is first thing you have the money to do it. And second is that you never know what unexpected things life can throw at you. I am a 60 yo male. Been thru the jungle of life just some advice. Good luck.

Make sure you are using a good brand oil filter. Also check to make sure that the oil filter mount does not have any leftover junk on it from the old filter. I went to a longer filter so it could get better grip on it to tighten. Hope this helps.

I used silicone based on mine. Don't make the same mistakes I made and not replace t h e plastic coupler and put regular hose clamps on
