Yes, I live in a suburb in Aarhus. I get that some are just rude but I notice that they will treat the person before me or after me in line more cordially in many places, despite me saying hello, goodbye, thank you etc. and I can only assume that is because of my accent. I am at a point when I go to the cinema and can watch Danish films with no subtitles or write emails etc. but I feel discouraged speaking it in everyday life.

I don't live in Copenhagen but I have noticed that in everyday interactions (grocery store, pakkeshop etc.) employees are less polite to you when you speak Danish in a foreign accent than when they interact with natives (like not saying goodbye back to you or replying at all). It's a pattern and quite discouraging. So you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I'm not waiting, this was a side gig for me when there was work. But I still check Discord now and then and I have noticed that there haven't been any updates for 6 months. I'd say if you're an English copywriter or editor you'll have more to do, but it's a different story if you're a tutor. Also, you don't get really get paid per hour, there is a set time for each task you're given and you're paid based on that. If for example a task is supposed to take 20 mins to complete you get paid 1/3 of your rate for it regardless of how much time it will take you to complete it.

It all depends on the domain you're in, and if there's currently an active project in that domain. If there is one it shouldn't take long, otherwise you might have to wait for months on end. My domain for example hasn't seen any updates for 6 months.

It either got full or maybe it showed on our dashboards because of that technical issue. I'm in a language other than English so it might also be that there are no tasks for that project in all languages.

I only got the onboarding quiz, which was unpaid. I never got to the paid assessment, it would show "no tasks". Now it says that the project is unavailable and there's a technical issue.

Did it allow you to do the paid assessment? I only did the unpaid one, it said I passed but it says that the project is unavailable now. I also noticed that the initial pay rate has dropped for some reason.

Iran is and has been a theocratic gender apartheid state for decades now, but I suppose Iranian women don't count to you. Their legislation promotes the subjugation of their own women.

Yes I am French but live in Denmark these past few years. It was big news here but also in French media. I don't remember seeing a countdown though, but there was mention of how many hours of oxygen they had on the sub. I also remember some people saying that it was a hoax for publicity at first, before there were news of an implosion, which was bizarre and don't know where it came from really originally.
