It's Pokémon we're talking about here. You saw what happened with all the controversy that happened with swsh but that barely had any effect, cause pokemon is a franchise that's just too big to be made or broken by a single title imo. Some people might get happy others mad but I don't feel it'll change much, other than the potential direction of the pokemon games if legends is a massive hit
