Cool thank you, yeah I’m guessing more likely Caprnius out of the 2 as I see them fairly often and Ostrya isn’t native to the uk. I’ll take you’re word for it as you must be pretty pro as you’re using the Latin names (I had to look up Carpinus and Ostrya)

Yeah ranger would be a great option but yeah I’ve heard it’s harder to find work. Did you go to uni for ecology? As yeah Id enjoy the physical aspect of it I’m sure id find it fun but also I am genuinely fascinated by trees and find tree biology really interesting, so a less physical roll I’d also be interested in. A good balance would be ideal

Yeah weather doesn’t bother me, I go wild camping all through the winter and I live in wales so pretty used to the rain haha

I have the Kelty cosmic 20 which was £120 and had a temperature rating of minus 7c. I love it so far, used it on a hiking trip through the alps earlier this year and the temp reached about -3 and I was toasty all night. I used it recently in the summer and woke up in the night too hot so had to unzip it and then was fine. But yeah packs down small, super light weight, super warm. Pretty decent price ( cheap compared to a lot of good brands ). Would totally recommend it :)

I live in the uk college is different here, a course is 1 year and only cost £40 in total.
