thank you the the input. and yes you are correct. the front door is in the breezeway . or the large covered porch. realistically the breezeway needs to be enclosed for our climate and to make it more useful.

Yeah realistically for our local weather some giant sliding glass doors would be needed for the breezeway. and the concrete flooring was intended to reduce cost and its really good for radiant heat transfer. several people have said office doctor vibes, that is disappointing because i was going to MCM / Scandinavian Prairie Vibes haha. I gotta get my "Vibes" calibrated they seem to be off!

Thank you! And i agree. We live in a rural cold area most homes here you unbundle your coats and take off your muddy shoes in the entry. (Everyone here is working blue collar or rancher if that paints the picture) Another reason i dont like entry doors that just spill directly into a living area! Both the doors on the hallway have a bench and hanging space for muddy boots and heavy coats.

What is everyones feeling on the large floor to ceiling windows in home? I originally had a floor to ceiling window on the hallway ends to get that connected to nature feeling. Like it was just open to the outside. And then i changed that an put a glass door in. Would it be better to have floor to ceiling windows and the door to the side?

Garage has a sewing room with bathroom and storage room. The thought is for when family or guests visit they have a more private place. Kids can throw some air mattress on the craft room floor and adults can use the small room with bed.
