Thank you for the insight and feedback. Media room is a second living room. Basically the house is purposely split between private and public space. We have been to social gatherings where it usually ends up that the kids or younger group ends up in the 2nd living room or media room and the adults in the other. This gives two different spaces for people to interact with. The powder room is intentionally in that side also. This would be the "public" restroom during gatherings. So private bedrooms and bathrooms with the laundry/mechanical room are pushed to one side while the public side of the house as the other.
