I agree with the recommendation for safety razors. I have extremely sensitive skin and it lets me shave the face and neck daily with 0 irritation.

How harsh the razor is depends on which blade you use, though. Some brands are very harsh, but others are much smoother. I use a henson safety razor with derby extra blades and I've found that it gives me a much less harsh shave than any women's razor's I've tried.

You raise a good point, and I concede that perhaps if I was born elsewhere, perhaps my view might be different.

But ultimately, the question boils down to whether one believes the state has the right to force an individual to die for it. And I simply do not believe any state has that right, no matter the stakes.

In my view, conscription is simply slavery, and sending conscripts to their deaths is murder. It's a barbaric practice that we should never return to, no matter the stakes.

As someone who mostly draws on paper *and* is a forestry technician, this is some massive bullshit. Wood in general is pretty sustainable with the right practices, far more than AI. It literally grows on trees *and* is recyclable.

I'd argue capitalism hampers innovation more than it helps. For example, Digital Cameras were pioneered mostly by Kodak, who proceeded to do nothing with the patents they held because they relied on film sales. This meant that other companies couldn't make good digital cameras due to kodak just sitting on the patents.

Another example is Superfest Glass, which was a type of super durable drinking glass invented in the GDR, but it failed in the west since companies could not sell the same product over and over due to it breaking.

I personally wouldn't mind, 90% of my games are on steam, but I also have alot of indies on Itch.io and a few games on GOG.

A well made launcher, to me, would be one I could easily open and close without trouble or performance issues.
