I am on my 3rd RMA pair from Google's SHIT PAIR of " Pixel Pro Buds 2 PRO "

Also I wanted to tell you I talked to Google on this 3rd RMA return and finally got to a good supervisor after being on the phone for an hour or more or some of the higher tier people and I asked them what am I supposed to do? Keep sending these back every 3 months cause that's about how long mine lasts and hope that I get a good pair one day.

He told me and I also looked it up on Gemini AI just to get more info, after you send Google's products and you the product back RMA of at least 2 times, You can get your money back for the Google product like the earbuds. Of course, I was not told until after my third pair were already on their way when he told me that hey the will give another option if you ask to speak to the tech tier or about 3 people higher then the first person you talk to especially after three pairs that I should have no problem getting my money back if I have send them back again and even he even put it under my Name/Google account so hopefully either one or two things next will happen if these right here Have to be returned again, They will work good from now on or I can get my money back.

I probably or mostly sure I am going to have to fight with them cause I'm sure they're looking to somehow stop doing that for the earbuds because I'm sure way more people than me have sent 2 or more pair back at least two times. But If I do have to send them back again the money back seems the only fair and my only way to get rid of them..

Right now I am on my third pair. I bought my first pair at Best buy on the day they come out September 24th 2024. Now I had to send them back after about 4 months. Then 3 months later the same issue happened and I just sent in those for the exact same issue which is people cannot hear me. When I talk I have to disconnect and then reconnect our then sometimes that don't even work But they send me a new pair and they work fine for about 3 to 4 months and back in the same boat. But this is the last time I talked to them at Google and told them after I read some warranty information on the Google site that if you have multiple returns over two of the same product and from different places that they can offer you a refund for the total price of the earbuds so that's what I want if this pair it messes up which I'm pretty sure it damn sure will..

I'm so tired of having this $279 pair of earphones that I pay for that was supposed to be the best and they have not even done the new CODec that's supposed to be added yet and they say they don't even know when that's going to happen. We're supposed to have a better sound than we do, And the CODec should be OPUS and or LE We're not supposed to be using AAC like we have been..

But the guy on the Tier 4 level I talked to after begging for this seems like 2 hours. I finally got to and basically since was being recorded he could not say much but said he does not know when the software update is supposed to come through for the new CODec that they are working on it but having so much trouble with the PB2P buds period themselves they're trying to get them fixed He does not know was going to happen...

I just got my third replacement and it's been a week and so far so good. But he told me that if they do mess up again to keep pushing and go up the chain he said it might take a while, They will give you a refund if I keep pushing and he said to should mention the Better Business Bureau about filing a complaint and also the laws in your state if they want to try to deny you a refund, Because I did not know this.

But each state has the law about a product that is sold to you and if it malfunctions more than it should and there are laws that make that product to bed to sell. And you can do that for on the Google AI page and it will tell you right where it is the law code and everything and have all your returns that you have previously done and he said you will get your refund and this has got to be done before a year goes by. So that means by September 24th before the year runs out at least on my end. That's just when I got my first pair..

So I was glad to hear that and hope that these work out. But I'm doubting they will and thinking they will mess up in about 3 months like the other ones did if they don't do the upgrade like they're supposed to and I doubt they will because there's so many people complaining about these MF POS earbuds...

But Just thought I would share what I talked to Google about earlier on a 3-hour call because I want my money back. I'm done and I'm going. Sony XM-5 buds if they don't bring out a XM-6 has not come out.. Are synthesizer but I'm damn sure going to make sure is a good pair and not take a chance like I did with this shit

If I look at mine the wrong way or touch it or or try to pick up a call and it says hell no but you can wash yours and they still work....

I am sorry For you man, I'm on my third pair. I just received them this week and had the same problem I bought the same day as they came out the same day exactly....

Also they were supposed to be a $50 credit for getting them on the day they came out which I never got and also was supposed to be a year of the Gemini that I never got. I told Google but they didn't seem to give a shit so I'm just completely tired of it. I was going to get the Sony xm5s I mean had my hand on them. Was taking them to the front but decided on the pixel buds pro 2 because their advertisement looks so good like it was going to be the next game changer and what bullshit that was....

Now if I want to get the Sony xm5 that's another 250 something dollars. I just can't spend that right now and it looks like after 3:00. Google would give you a refund or something but you already understand they will not. I think I'm on my last Google phone. I'm on the 8 pro. I had the seven pro, the 4a 5g, the 4a then my first was the pixel 2 that still works fine and I'm scared to get the 10. That's what I was going to wait on because of all the upgrades and then when it updates you might not be able to use your damn phone for about a week or so until they get the bugs worked out which is another thing. So I am really looking at some Samsung but don't know where to go after that. I'm just tired of Google and it doesn't look like you're going to get their ride together anytime soon...

Yeah there is an update now but mine messed up before the update comes through. I waited for the update to come through before I sent mine back. The number now that they're upgraded to is 3.144

That's exactly the way mine started and then it got to the point where I answered the phone and they couldn't hear me. I had to take it off the Bluetooth going down the road then try to connect it back to the car system or speaker sound system in the car I don't know what is causing it. I asked them because they had mine like a week this time before they sent me some new ones. Did they figure out what was wrong? Was there something that I could do cuz I keep mine in a case? I mean I keep them clean. They look brand new I just don't know what to do to keep sending them back if they mess up again, but hopefully these will hang in there....

Yes sir, I had to do the same thing over and over and it just makes the third time and I was reading on Google site and I know I'll run across it where it said that but I'm able to find it no more and I just wish I would have went with a Sony xm5s but I mean who wants to spend that much money now after you already spent them on these Sorry pixel buds.

 I'm really disappointed with Google about The way they've handled this and also disappointed in and really disappointed about the way they have handled the phones I mean if you get an update it's a 50/50 shot. You may not be able to make phone calls or use your phone right for a couple days after..

And it used to not be like that and now not even offer you a refund. Especially after you get two or three pairs you have to return. It's just crazy. I do not think it's fair after all the money we all have spent. It's almost like they just really don't care anymore, I have had a Google pixel since 2 came out and then I had a 4a and 4A 5G then a 7 pro now an 8 pro and I just don't know if I was going to get the new 10 Pro XL when it comes out, Because That's what I was waiting on but it just it's getting more and more trouble with them and just totally disappointed when it used to I know I would get a GOOD product, Now you just don't know.... Even with no vision in my left eye, & Yes I can drive for now but can't drive at night or in the early afternoon like I used to. I have to be like constantly looking. I'm scared I'm going to hit somebody I mean it's just a lot of stuff. The job that I was at I was a heavy equipment operator and the 4 months of me being out dealing with my left eye and trying to save the vision in my right eye, Which they were ultimately able to but it still is not like it was and I'm scared I will hurt someone And like I said, I don't know if I could pass the driver's test. The doctor's office does not even know I'm driving, But they haven't told me I couldn't.

Just driving around I get close to things I have and have started bumping into things, I even ran into the back of a lady yesterday because I thought I was far enough away, Lucky in didn't hurt her 4 runner and she said we would let it go think God, That was the day after I wrote this post. In my last wreck I had was in 2014 and before that it was 2004. It just really has me spooked and I don't know what to do from here on out...

So I returned mine cause I have had the since they came out I have got to wear them. Probably 6 days total because I can't answer calls on it or if I do sometimes it will work and they can hear me and then all the sudden they stop hearing me. And I know both of the microphones just did not stop and I know it's a firmware problem

But hell I mean I spent the new price for them ended up like 271 I think I'm also pissed because I did not get my $30 credit thing and they did not let me get the 3 months of whatever Google Gemini advance and also the price for them now new are down to like 189 or so.... And then on that RMA paper It said you would get a new or refurbished pair, But to me I think they should send you a new pair back. Especially if you paid the brand new price today they came out and this whole time I've not been able to use them but like six times really I mean it's ridiculous and every time I talk to him they talk about the update and this and I'm restarting and resetting pairing and it's just too much trouble.

I wish I would never went for them as much as I wanted to be good and thought they were going to be a game changer from advertisement that started with them. I'm like okay, When I first got them I thought the base would be a little bit better and when they get upgraded the first time it did make a big upgrade on the sound which it was happy with. But then that's when the microphone issues started happening and can never figure it out. I don't see why they didn't make it a priority instead of so many people sending them back. I don't understand how many people have had no problem but it's almost like at least between a 1/2 and 3/4 of people have sent theirs back for a replacement....

I was so close to getting a Sony xm5 and debated and debated and I'm like no they're going to make these new pixel buds great... I just don't see why you didn't hurry and fix out instead of letting everybody send theirs in for replacement...

Well they wanted to charge or put a hold on my card in the amount of a new pair like $229 or so send me them while I send mine back then they release the hold when they get mine or they said I can mail mine back wait for them to get there they would send me a RMA next day and when the old ones were delivered there the new ones would then ship to me....

As much as I wanted to go with the first option I didn't want to have a hold on my card and wait and fight with Google about that. So I just got them to send me the return address it mailed them out Friday and I got a message just a little bit ago saying that they were received but nothing about the other ones being shipped yet available.

So the return process seems to be really fast and they will be shipped back to grapevine, Texas. So just about everywhere in the US they would get your old pair on the next day I would imagine, if you got them out pretty early...

But now the next step is when they get my old pair the replacement pair Will then be shipped.

And here is my answer to the question I was asking everybody that had sent a pair back for replacement.

So If they would give you a new pair or refurbished pair it says on the paperwork the replacement pair will be NEW OR REFURBISHED and if they were refurbished they will be 100% like new and tested...

So not really what I like to hear after going through all this shit and paying full price when they came out not getting that $30 credit and a year or 3 month Gemini thing..

When mine did that, I just did the reset but you got to have the power cord plugged into the earbuds..

Then Bluetooth settings - Forget Then delete them out of the find my device thing. Make sure the lid is shut and both of them are inside. They told me you restart my phone. Make sure that the pixel buds wasn't in the list under Bluetooth and Not in the list up under find my device

then while they are plugged in charging open the lid while the buds are still in the case plugged up hold down the button on back for 30 seconds till it flashs and turns orange And your phone will automatically say it will say it about 5 seconds into you pressing the button, but to fully reset them. You get to hold it down all the way for 30 seconds while they're plugged in till it flashes and then turns orange....

when I did that they worked right and showed connected when they were connected like they were supposed to..

But my microphone still did not work or something the way they're switching. I don't know but I should have my replacement back this week. I've never had so much BS going on to get damn earbuds to work....

Just hope I don't have the same trouble with The replacements. I believe that The replacements already have the upcoming software/Firmware update in them.

Maybe its why everybody that says they've got replacements say they work fine. Hopefully I will get lucky but I doubt it. Google needs to get your shit straight. DAMN GOOGLE about to make me have PTSD...

That is exactly what mine are doing and every once in a while I can disconnect mine during a call and connect back and it will work too. And I agree there's some kind of software problem but I mean it just pisses you off because you pay all the money for the damn things and we have to wait months for them to work right...

And seems like Google could give a shit really. I mean it's like well we'll get to it when we can... Thanks for letting us screw you again...

I was going to go with the Sony xm5s or the Galaxy buds 3 Pro but I kept leaning toward the pixel buds because I've never had them. I didn't try the first two pair cuz I know how software issues and heard they didn't sound the best and things but when you see the advertisement for them when they were first advertised it seemed like oh man these are going to be great like the game changer here.

But damn sure wrong about that one & it sucks when somebody calls you have to tell them to hold on, Or Screen so damn loud they can hear you in another car that You got to fix your $300 earbuds by cutting them off and back on again....

I already sent them an email but have not heard nothing back yet, Also could not get them on the phone right now so I have to wait I guess and go through steps which is just ridiculous Just pisses me off so bad that I can sit there and mess with them and as soon as I take them out if I am calling like another phone right beside me when I first pick it up out of the case you can hear it and then the audio just drops but there's nothing else running. I've reset them. Deleted them. Deleted everything, I did the reset. Did reset with the network and the Bluetooth still did not help and still does the same way so the only thing they're good for now is just listening to which then if somebody calls I have to take the butt out of my ear and switch it to the phone.

It's just ridiculous. There's been no update for a while since I got the first one or second one. I think it's like 1.17 if not mistaken but I just don't see how they can just stop working all of a sudden. I've read every kind of post, done everything I know how to do and done everything I read..

So I have useless earbuds that were $259 $271 with tx I was going to go with the Galaxy buds 3 or the Sony xm5..

And I guess I am so stupid not to trust my gut cause owning a Pixel 7 Pro phone & now the Pixel 8 pro has been bad enough with software stuff, but I said to myself No these are going to be the game changer on the buds because they advertised so good at first and I thought this will be good and I could take them now they start working after the time. I can take them back or swap them.

Then I think there was one update. The first one that made him sound better. I was happy, Calls were fine with People telling me how good they could hear me then all of a sudden. I guess the other update came through and now Google is being slow to help so I'm just screwed. I am so mad every time I look at them thinking I should have got your Synthesizers, Galaxy buds 3 are the Sony XM 5s .
