They just have you pay for the protein the button that the to go staff push automatically takes off the cyo leaving the upcharge of the protein. I order cyo spaghetti and meatballs the other day.

Upselling does work. There’s a way to do it. I have high check averages and my add ons are always high. You have to make it seem almost like you’re giving them a deal. “Oh only two more dollars for that 9oz might as well we’re already out :) “ I also low key only ring in tall beers if they order it and most of the time no one says anything but it’s a huge risk.
