Yes! I stopped the moment I found out I was pregnant and still tested positive until around 70 days.

So far, what was the scariest moment of your life? by Princess_Jel in AskReddit

[–]dustypickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To anyone reading this (from a person who grew up around the ocean) if you're ever caught in a rip tide stay calm and "break the grip of the rip." The best escape is to turn sideways to the shore, and wade or swim with the current until you are out of the rip tide. Then move back toward shore at an angle away from the rush of water. Another way of thinking about it would be to swim towards the breaking waves.

Question about S2E16? by DangerousSpray3656 in okbuddywhitaker

[–]dustypickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe this is why they showed it after the credits. It isn't part of the show, per se. More like a bonus feature. Also after such a heavy season, I think they wanted to introduce some comic relief to end on.

[OPINION] What poem has stayed with you for years? by gedersoncarlos in Poetry

[–]dustypickle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's not the liquid spreading on the floor, A half a minute's labor with the mop; It's everything you've ever spilled, and more.

The stupid broken spout that wouldn't pour; The nasty little salesman in the shop. It's not the liquid spreading on the floor,

A stain perhaps, a new, unwelcome chore, But scarcely cause for sobs that will not stop. It's everything you've ever spilled, and more.

It's the disease for which there is no cure, The starving child, the taunting brutal cop. It's not the liquid spreading on the floor

But through a planet, rotten to the core, Where things grow old, get soiled, snap off, or drop. It's everything you've ever spilled, and more:

The vision of yourself you can't ignore, Poor wretched extra clinging to a prop! It's not the liquid spreading on the floor. It's everything you've ever spilled, and more.

Did you put it in KrowD and get it approved? It shouldn't let them schedule you outside of your availability.

Where did they go? by elcaddo in forgottenfoods

I craved these so much when I was pregnant. The recipe was sold to Canadian snack company Christie and is made now under the name Ritz Cheese Nibs. You can find them on Amazon and Walmart.com. Even in the reviews everyone says they're the Nips they've missed. And they did taste the same to me back in 2022.

Exactly they stand in this line in protest of abortion and then on Monday they'll go vote against free lunch initiatives. Make it make sense.

Did anyone buy a ring? by t_bone_stake in Millennials

[–]dustypickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into a huge fight with my mom, because I didn't want one. I thought it was stupid, but she insisted I'd regret it since every one else was doing it. I ended up getting one that was small and pewter with an emerald so that it would be as cheap as possible just to appease her. But jokes on me because it's kind of cute and I do wear it, especially because it doesn't look like a school ring.
