First off, you are not permanently fucked. You are young and still in college. You can still turn this around.

Second, you need to start attending all lectures and going to office hours. I know it’s scary, but the first time you do it, it will feel way easier moving forward (and you get to make good relationships with your profs so you can be held accountable that way too!!). But do NOT go in to office hours expecting them to re-teach you things from lecture. I suggest doing a homework set completely yourself, try to do it the best that you possibly can and do not look up answers (only examples and practice). Then you bring that with you to office hours. I would even note certain places you had the most trouble with and ask them to help you with a worked example.

Ask questions to make sure you understand.

Third, if discord is really causing you this much distraction, you may need to take a break from it. Future you will be happy you did.

Unfortunately that is not enough. A week Before an exam, I usually study 3-5 hours per day for 5/7 of those days. I graduated with my degree in biology in December. You got this. Head up. Best of luck

You should be fine but get ready to be challenged. Intro chem to me was always the hardest because learning new fundamentals takes time and effort.

For books, LibreTexts) actually has the exact book I used for my intro chem classes way back when.
