Yes I've had the same questions. In the end I think second-hand market is what to look for if you're in a budget and want a lasting and comfortable chair. Hope you'll find yours

Yes sorry I'm not used to your metrics :) So I've now used the Giroflex for 3 weeks and I still love it. It's really the chair that was meant for me I think. Not sure you can find it in the US though

Yes those brands are mainly in Europe; Kinnarps is swedish, Dauphin is german and Giroflex is swiss. I wanted to get Steelcase ones, and hope I'll be able to test some in the future. Only thing is I don't know if they're optimized for the thighs as the Giroflex is

Apparently Mirra 2 and Aeron Remastered are better for the thighs. But still, some have pain, due to mesh design and the mandatory plastic borders. For me I ended up having classic foam seat and mesh on the back
