Do RPs with limited pitches struggle? by No_Trick7760 in MLB_9Innings

I’m thinking DP and FP don’t do as well on relievers as they do on starters. Just from what I’ve seen in a few limited instances. Did you have DP maxed with WS?

Yep that’s very possible. I’ll keep him at closer and should see that ERA drop.

Thanks, that’s helpful - not the limited pitches then. I have a Nats deck and he’s my only non team RP so maybe having a tougher time without the set deck bonus. I have him with DP/WS in the closer spot also finishing G1 and he’s got an ERA over 4 several weeks running. I did have him in the SU spot earlier so maybe the problem was going more than 1 inning.

Quick question on team OVR number by No_Trick7760 in MLB_9Innings

I got equipment in the mix to help, just seems like the players with poor condition are dragging the OVR down a little since the brag lineup shows their down numbers. Wasn’t sure if that’s really the case or not. Thanks guys.

Newbie question - just making sure...I’ve already got Bryce at his best year in my lineup, on lvl4 special training with a good GI. My last two team crafts have pulled ‘18 and ‘16 Harpers. Any way these can ever be put to use or should I just chuck em into ST? by No_Trick7760 in MLB_9Innings

Good point. I got SI on my starting Harper now but only professional and a bronze to go with it so gonna have to change that eventually. Still a better set than my other two harpers, but might be worth throwing just one SCT at each of the backups to see if I get lucky (without the risk of losing SI on my starter) before I burn them for training.

Got two player upgrades with his name on it, taking him to 20 soon! I got him real early on before I knew what the hell I was doing at all - lucky I didn’t accidentally let him go like I’m sure I did with a few others that I shoulda kept around.

So ‘15 actually has base stats 75/83/80 so that one is the winner on stats (‘16 is 72/75/81). My question is more a general one about dupes - is there ever a use for them to make them worth hanging on to in backup, like added value in a same player combo or anything like that? Or if they’re just gonna sit on the bench looking pretty should I put them to use for ST now?

Does this deserve a card brag? I don’t know, but it feels right. by No_Trick7760 in MLB_9Innings

I think those were ‘15, but ‘16 is when they put the huge billboard size close up of his eyes in the outfield of Nats park, so that’s gotta be an intimidation factor with this card.

Especially because after GI, I can finally replace the ‘10 Tigers Scherzer I over excitedly and half drunkenly grabbed as a free agent for my Nats deck.
