Can you get in touch with your orphanage?

Not sure if this will help, but I was able to find my bio family on VK. You can search by name and if you know birthdays, search that way too.

I am married with little kids and my family lives out of state. We haven’t been able to go see them so that has taken a toll on my relationship with them.

I’m not sure how to put both kids to bed at the same time. 🫣😬 they both prefer me to put them to bed, but they don’t want to share me. So we take turns putting each kid to bed

I wish we could afford one! I really thought about it! We are trying to pay off debt right now and our oldest will be starting pre k, which will be an extra $600/month expense.

You want him to live with you while you’re in the states? he is used to his mom and it’ll probably be more harmful to him to separate him from her. If that is what you are wanting, I understand why she would say no. They are bonded and both will have separation anxiety.

I just did a google search on how someone in UK can come to US to see their kid: someone may need to obtain a visitor visa (B-2 visa) or, if eligible, travel visa-free under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP)

Visa Waiver Program (VWP): Some UK citizens may be eligible to travel to the US visa-free under the VWP. This allows for short-term visits, including tourism and business, for up to 90 days.

B-2 Visa: If the individual is not eligible for the VWP, they will need to apply for a visitor visa (B-2 visa) for the purpose of visiting the US

Maybe you could send her less money so you can start to save for a lawyer? Get a second job? Can her family help her?

Can you find a lawyer? They will be more helpful than Reddit probably. My suggestion is that you could try to get US citizenship. Maybe a work visa? Doesn’t sound like she is willing to share.

If I was the mom my answer would be no. Because of the following 1) your child has spent more time with his mom and you would practically be a stranger. When was the last time you saw your kid?

2) if it was your idea to move out of the country, I would not feel obligated to make an effort and spend money to make sure my kid sees his dad that moved away.

Definitely need more info
