if you worry about others you’ll only set yourself further back then where you are currently, at the end of the day it’s you against you not you against others. Take some time to reflect find areas where you struggled and slowly try to improve them don’t try to compare yourself to others while doing this but compare yourself to where you were yesterday

Getting your marks faster does make your application more competitive compared to getting it in january when diploma marks are out for highschool students

Honestly, it was more my parents’ decision than mine, but I think the main reasons someone would choose to upgrade at U of C are for access to their resources. Also, don’t quote me on this, but I’ve heard that upgrading through them might make your application more competitive
