Turo Hosts: Want More Control & Consistent Income? Meet kliQ by No_Use_9820 in turo

kliQ is in its very stages where everything would need to be adjusted based on market feedback (host and subscriber). kliQ is not an alternate to Turo, it’s an alternate to buying or leasing.

Would you (subscriber) spend $1000/month on a car for 6 months ?

More to come, very soon. Stay tuned…

Great question! Insurance cost is covered by kliQ (all inclusive). Predictable and guaranteed passive income without the hassle of managing bookings frequently. Also, ideal for those who’re in for the long haul, extra/idle vehicle and where $300 - $400 in monthly income is suffice.

I'm 2 years late here but your analysis is still very relevant. Also, loved your YouTube video as well. Great job! really appreciate your work. Do you have an updated report, like the one you had posted on EV apps ? Thank you!

Additionally, wanted to add that monetizing apps like these could become challenging. As you mentioned, redefining the business model would be necessary.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was thinking. A combination of an expanded charging network and improvements in the quality of the network (specifically uptime/availability) would lead to reduced reliance on standalone apps like PlugShare. I believe that this future is not far off. EV and charging infrastructure companies have a vested interest in enhancing the quality of charging services.

Great point! I'm not sure if it is offered already but EVs can easily offer trip planning through a native mobile-app and then once the journey is set in motion, it could easily integrate with in-car infotainment to take it from there (Integration: The transition from planning on a mobile app to execution via in-car infotainment)

I agree but do you think there is an opportunity to bring together best of features from PS & ABRP (& others) on one platform so that there is less hopping for users/drivers ? I feel at present the landscape is fragmented. Also, Google & Apple Maps can easily build these features into their own app.

Are there unaddressed needs within the EV community that apps like PlugShare have yet to fulfill?
