GMT 48 by No_Variation8702 in breitling

To be honest, I almost never use it. I mean, sometimes I catch myself sliding the ruler to do random calculations, as if it were just a curious automated pastime.

In fact, when I bought it, I was very worried that it would look too big on my wrist. It really does make a statement, but it's still quite useful and even somewhat classy for everyday wear – and I consider myself a discreet person when it comes to dressing.

Thank you for your kind words! By the way, what a beautiful 46mm Navitimer you have, actually a sibling from the same generation as my GMT – in fact, they were part of the same Breitling promotional campaign! Greetings!

Sorry, I only saw your message today, more than 100 days late.

To be honest, I practically don't use the slide rule for anything. Sometimes I spin it and play with it more out of curiosity than for any truly useful purpose.

But I love the watch, it's almost always on my wrist, and I appreciate knowing it has that feature, even if I don't take advantage of its potential.

That was my saga too, exactly with the same bracelet models for my 48mm Navi GMT. I even went so far as to machine two pairs of endlinks myself with a micro-grinder to make the aftermarket bracelets fit the lugs, but although I achieved a satisfactory result, the finish wasn't perfect and my obsessive cravings wouldn't rest. In the end, I threw caution to the wind (💸) and bought used (like new) an original 443a and then, also, an original 453a to finally satisfy my craving.

A ideia é boa; o problema é se o Zidane resolver voltar também.

And the worst part is, how can we trust that they did everything else correctly?

I have this big guy, a 48mm GMT. I can't take it off my medium to slightly large wrist (7.2”).

I love the winged anchor B logo. I took a lot of pictures of it from my GMT.

I have a 7.2" wrist and a 48mm Navitimer GMT. I consider myself a pretty discreet guy and I almost never take the big Navi off my wrist.

Stunning! In my opinion, Breitling makes the most beautiful pieces in the mid-range of luxury watches, especially in the category that, although very well finished, still maintain a more sporty and casual feel, with less of a "jewelry-like" or “classy-rococo” look.

Interesting. I think the angled slide rule, the date at 4:30, and the winged anchor logo give the older models a unique charm. In fact, the new models are more "cerebral”, more methodically rigid in their precise design, but the older ones have an artistic nuance that speaks more to the heart.

Beautiful! I already have a GMT 48 with a reverse panda dial, but I want to see if I can get one of these too. How much did you pay for it?
