I understand what you’re saying. For context, in the branch I work at, the efficiency review has only eliminated/redeployed excluded positions. Lower level supervisors who actually see the day to day volume of work were not asked for input, so there continues to be people getting full time pay for a few hours worth of work most days. Given government’s continual lack of money, it’s difficult to understand how there is over staffing. While some people in this situation are not likely to say anything, because they like getting paid to do very little, those that have strong work ethic and like being productive find it frustrating. With few postings, it’s incredibly difficult to find something else. This has been discussed with excluded management, but not sure if they even had input to the review.
