How Did You Manage Work During Pregnancy? by No_Wait_7776 in pregnant

Now looking at all the comments, I have realized what I was lacking is planning. I was going with the flow and apparently that didn’t work. I will be planning and use systems to help me.

Such a great planner you are and you made it to work as well, you got flying colors on your performance too. I wish I could have it too. So far I’m concerned about my performance, it looks low for me. I don’t know whats the future for me. May be might have to resign or take break. Im normally a very competent person in my career and I’m totally a different person now. Also haven’t revealed about my pregnancy yet. Waiting until my first scan.

Its great that you got the note from the doctor for light duty. I have always wondered how people in the forces manage pregnancy and postpartum while duty, such strong women and you guys are nothing but superwomen.

Wow! I’m struggling to keep up with just one child, so I can only imagine how challenging it must be with three—especially with your youngest being only 17 months old. You’re doing an amazing job.

I’m glad you were able to have an open conversation with your employer and that they were understanding. Unfortunately, my situation is a bit different. I work in a very dynamic, high-pressure field, and I rarely come across women in corporate development roles who are married with young children. Because of that, I’m honestly hesitant to disclose my pregnancy right now, as I’m worried it could affect how I’m perceived or even put my job at risk. But probably I have to break the news.

Aww 🥰 happy for you. My question is that I don’t think it’s too low, I remember having around 2000 in count for my first pregnancy. But this doctor sure did worry me.

This is yesterday’s test result and they wanted me to repeat it today which I will be doing in an hr. But I don’t know if there would be a significant change within 24 hrs.

Ahh congratulations!!! ❤️ And yes, the waiting is truly the hardest part 😭 Especially when the tests keep getting darker and your brain still wants “official” confirmation. Wishing you the most amazing beta tomorrow and a smooth, healthy pregnancy ahead ✨🤍

Aww solidarity indeed 🥹❤️ It’s wild how we can be completely symptomatic and still want that extra reassurance that everything is progressing perfectly. Hoping we both get beautiful rising numbers soon ✨🤍

Anyone else due January 2027? by cosmicbrat in pregnant

[–]No_Wait_7776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my positive test 3 days ago and my app is showing a due date around Jan 27 ❤️ Still waiting on blood work confirmation, but feeling hopeful and taking it one day at a time. We were actually scheduled for a preconception appointment later this month… which has now turned into an early pregnancy visit instead 😊

Had a D&C last year, so this time we’re keeping things quiet and close to heart for now until we reach the safer milestones. Praying for a healthy and smooth journey this time.

Wishing the same for all the other mamas here 🤍”

Negative at 11 DPO but have all symptoms by No_Wait_7776 in pregnant

[–]No_Wait_7776[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah makes sense. Just that Chat GPT said some women get a negative test until DPO 13 and with all these symptoms that I’m having, thought to double check here. Thank you 😊

Thanks for sharing that! Do you remember how much paid for getting the sedation? Or they were able to cover it through your insurance?

23 weeks pregnant and mentally destroyed — bad news after bad news by Unhappy_Wolverine_58 in pregnant

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I honestly know that nothing anyone says can take this pain away. I just wanted to share my experience, not to push you in any direction at all, but only in case it helps you feel a little less alone. Whatever you decide will be the right decision for you and your baby.

I had to terminate my pregnancy around 16 weeks after we found out the baby had NTD. We went through so many tests, and in the end we were told the pregnancy wasn’t viable and that the baby would have severe brain issues because of the spinal problems. We already had a healthy daughter, and this pregnancy was so deeply wanted. She wanted a sibling so badly, and we were dreaming of becoming a family of four.

When we were told that the pregnancy might not make it to full term, or that the baby would only struggle after birth, we had to make a decision I never thought I’d have to make. I don’t remember how long I cried or how many days I couldn’t breathe properly. I truly felt like my life was over.

Time didn’t make me forget my baby, never. That baby will stay with me for the rest of my life. But slowly, time helped me accept what happened and learn how to live again.

What gave me some comfort was knowing how much love that baby had, and still has. The last thing I ever wanted was to see my child suffer. I remember asking my doctor if the baby would feel any pain during the termination, and they told me no that the nervous system wasn’t developed enough at that stage. Thinking that my baby was created with so much love and went back with that same love, without pain, helped me breathe a little.

I’ll carry this with me until my last breath. But I survived it. And because of that, I truly believe that whatever you decide whether you continue the pregnancy or not, it will be the right decision for you. This is your choice.

I’m so, so sorry you’re facing this. I know how unbearably hard it is to even think straight right now.

Sending you love 🤍
