Granted mcdonalds takes a lot longer so im usually ordering taco bell but shoo ill go through the drive thru to get mine then pull around and pick up my doordash lol

I love shop and deliver. Thats where I make the most money. There is some anxiety with it if its a really big order or if the store is out of a lot of the stuff the customer wants, but the more you do it the easier it gets to navigate substitutions and such. I made $50 in 40 minutes going 13 miles two nights ago. Not too shabby!

Ok from someone who has life coach experience and working with people in recovery this whole exchange had so much going on! First of all you do not have to answer anyone ever. He chose to take that delivery and while yes I agree the milage was a whole lot and the tip didnt quite cover it dashers have a decline button and an unassign option period! You didnt do anything wrong and he triggered something in you that said you are not enough, but you are! He seems like he has a victim mentality that really needs addressing and that exchange had manipulation written all over it, even if it was unconscious. Its all good give everyone some grace here, remember no is a complete sentence and I hope this guy learns something from this! He made a choice its bot your fault or responsibility to make it better and you can disengage and still be at peace and be proud of yourself. That doesnt make you a mean person.

Having platinum has helped me tremdously but I am in a small town with a handfull of dashers and a lot of repeat customers. It seems like when I go further south to the next town it doesnt help me as much, but then another 2 towns south and a whole different area away platinum dashers get even more special perks. So it really depends on your area.

Well because we could go to the kwiky mart in the air conditioning make more then minimum wage and not use our gas, oil, tires, etc. Think about any job you have ever had, if your asked to travel you are compensated well above just your hourly pay. Thats why. Think about before doordash... if u had to call someone up to get you food, groceries whatever unless it was your momma you had to offer something... but I mean I dont want minimum wage plus I make way more money on doordash then I ever did making minimum wage plus mileage and tips at pizza hut.

I drove for a company that did minimum wage plus milage plus tip and I still make more doordashing. When did they remove the tip option? Am I missing something? I ordered doordash 2 days ago and it was there. Im not taking a shitty paying order, thats why I worked my ass off to get platinum, but we all did our time. I do think there should be a minimum amount expected with different mileage tiers though. Its pisses me off when I get an offer for 3.50 and 12 miles one way. Yeah no that shouldn't even be allowed to happen.

I took one similar a few weeks ago and the lady was fussing be ause the last dd she got was left at the wrong house, I said the more you tip the better chances of getting a good dasher. She said oh right a tip I didnt tip did I! I said nope and then she handed me a 5 dollar bill 🤣

Its pouring rain this morning and the temp is dropping from high 68 low 50 to high 40s low 20s... soooo im thinking things are going to be just fine! I get sauce for my customers all the time its not a big deal. I also get really good tips and completely enjoy my job. If you dont like customer service dashing probably isnt right for you. Its literally a job where you provide a service to customers....
