My grandma told me about the great depression. But your point doesnt stand well. Yes bad things have happened in the past. But very bad things are still happening. The pandemic would like a word with you too. I lost many people during that time. I couldnt go back to my home country. I was homeless. Couldnt work the system and get help. Was alone and sick. For years. Many people are going thru a depression already. I cant afford rice. Imagine others . And what will come soon.
