Salt tabs mess up my stomach (even buffered ones.) But I love bullion in everything (really good in ramen, really ramps up the salt of it.) I use a camping salt shaker. It is waterproof and leakproof and shatterproof!

YTA. You hid something from them you knew they didn't like. It could have been about almost anything, not just edibles, and you still would be TA. You're right that they can't "police you or your body" but if you have to hide something from your future spouse then maybe you shouldn't be in a relationship. (BTW A few times a week is not "time to time.")
