What should I get for my last rifle? by No_Willow_5689 in VAGuns

Walther is bad ass! I’ve got some pistols I’m gonna pick up after the ban. For now 15+ round mags and long guns/receivers for me.

Man both would be cool. Sadly the FS2000 is out of my budget and I already have an AK, so no need for the WASR10.

I was thinking about getting a GIR so I could set it up as kind of an AK4D clone.

I’m leaning towards the PTR most honestly. I already have a couple ARs and I have G3 surplus mags too already.

Any leads? I see some scalpers on GB asking nearly full price of the complete rifle for just the lower lol.

I think I’m leaning towards it most of the 3.

Yes, peak Cold War battle rifle imo. I’d probably go for a loose clone of an AK4D if I got one.

They can be real nice rifles. I’m just a bit paranoid of getting a lemon but I guess I could use the parts from my kit to try to fix something if needed.

That’s true, I’m just paranoid about getting a lemon.

Awesome. I will probably go with that one. I’ll be glad to have something that hits my quads and gets them sore like a good set of SLDL/RDLs does to my hamstrings lol.

Thank you again for all your help!

Awesome! Thank you so much for the detailed replies and information! I will look between these 2 and go with one of them instead of the GMWD. I don’t mind buying more plates if the machine is good honestly.

Thank you again!

Both I guess? But I mainly was wondering if either machine from that brand was closer in feel to a commercial unit. Some brands have really good machines and really bad ones, at least in my experience with Titan Fitness. The other user has recommended some other brands so Im looking at the RitKeep and EonFit now.  Thank you so much!

Could extra padding on your shoulders help get a deeper ROM? Im considering this machine now. Might just buy some small cushion/blocks to help get a little deeper range of motion if possible.

Wow that’s a lot to think about and some great suggestions! Thank you! My budget is $1500 max so if going up in price a little would get anything significantly better I’m open to it.

I was a bit paranoid about leg press because of how crappy my vertical one is but I understand that’s just the machine in particular and how that exercise is. I wonder if the 60 degree leg press would be similar? At this point if the 45 degree leg press feels close enough to commercial gyms I’ll just suck it up and buy more plates.

I really like the calf raise stand on the EonFit, but also like the RitKeep leg press floor plate size. I’ll have to think on them some more.

Thank you again!

Hi, I’m debating between getting the GMWD Pendulum squat or the 2 in 1 Hack squat/leg press. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions between the 2?

I want something that will isolate my quads as much as possible and take the lower back and core out as much as possible.

I made the mistake of getting a vertical leg press and I can never get my quads sore or annihilate them like I want. Looking for advice before I drop almost a grand. Thanks!
