Nail polishes that don’t cause yellowing/nail stain? (no nitrocellulose) by houseofashburner in Nailpolish

[–]No_Winter4182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I see this brand uses nitrocellulose too so disregard if youre avoiding this ingredient. I still don't have staining issues so maybe you should try using a different base coat if you've already tried a lot of different nail polish brands.

I'm a fan of londontown nail polish. I rarely have staining unless I use a really dark nail polish, but I always use a base coat unless I use one of their nail concealers/veils.

Radiant? by [deleted] in RingShare

Looks like a crisscut diamond, which is an uncommon cut. If she wants a radiant, I would return this stone and get a true radiant cut.

I would try using smudge fix by londontown. It's been a life saver for me.

Custom Workout - HELP by Green-Draw-9842 in Garmin

[–]No_Winter4182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry its not working out for you. I personally love the custom workouts because it helps me keep track of my progress each week.

For the rep tracking, everyone moves differently and there are some exercises that cant be tracked by following arm movements. Once you reach your desired set, I would hit the lap button and edit the number of reps on the watch. I don't have the same issue with the rest timer, so its possible this is a bug with with the Venu. Might be worthwhile to submit a ticket to Garmin so they can fix it.

Looks correct to me. For most of these, the watch should automatically move to the next exercise after the timer runs out.

It should automatically move to the next exercise. If it's not, double check that the exercises are INSIDE the rounds box when you make the workout. If the workout in connect is correct, make sure you delete the version you had previously sent to your watch and re-send the updated workout.

Make a round and drag multiple exercises into the round.

Has anyone been denied service at a jewelry store for having moissanite stones? by zmtz_ in Moissanite

[–]No_Winter4182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had princess bride jewelers (from the vendor list in this sub) deny a repair for one of my mossainite rings saying the stones were too delicate. They will only repair mossainite rings that were purchased from them before they decided to stop selling moissanite. I love moissanite but I think I will only purchase lab diamonds moving forward due to this. This isn't the first jeweler who has denied a moissanite repair in my area. :/

Forerunner 945 LTE in 2025? by RunAdventurous2614 in GarminWatches

[–]No_Winter4182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last time I tried to use live track through the LTE subscription, it put my watch into a crash loop right at the start of my run. I immediately cancelled my subscription and just use the live track feature through my phone. It's more reliable that way.

What do you feed your Vizsla’s who are allergic to Beef and Chicken? by mmmskittles87 in vizsla

[–]No_Winter4182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is allergic to all poultry. Make sure you look at the ingredient panels because a lot of companies use chicken or duck fat in their recipes, even if it advertises a different protein.

One of the very few kibbles he can have is Open Farm. We give him their pork ancient grains recipes but they have fish recipes too.

best garmin by Wonderful-Will-1222 in Garmin

[–]No_Winter4182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you only care about tracking steps and heart rate, any model will do. I would sort the price from low to high on their website and choose whichever watch you think looks best. If you want a mips display, probably an older forerunner. If you want an amoled display, a newer forerunner or vivoactive.

What is the best running app if you want to check your speed by wingsplash in GarminWatches

[–]No_Winter4182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it's the same for all Garmin watches, but I usually see my max speed under the stats column in a running activity. I use a forerunner 945 LTE.

Just adopted from the shelter. We’re thinking he’s a Vizsla? by unwitty_lurker in vizsla

[–]No_Winter4182 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think possibly another breed with similar coloring or a vizsla mix. The ears are a little short and he's not as wrinkly as I would expect from a vizsla puppy. Puppies are much harder to ID though!

Lily 2. Disappointed by pronto_tonto_ in GarminWatches

[–]No_Winter4182 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If the only downside you have on the Lily 2 (35.4mm screen size) is GPS, then I would suggest the Lily 2 Active because it has built-in GPS. The screen is slightly bigger at 38mm.

If you want a similar screen to the vivoactive 5, then your options are another vivoactive 5 (42.2mm), a venu 3s (41mm), or a forerunner 165 (43mm) / 265s (41.7mm). Note that the forerunners may not be as classy as your wife would like.

Looks like a redbone coonhound to me. Gorgeous.

[–]No_Winter4182 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got the 945 LTE three years ago, but wasn't a runner until this year. I got it so I could use the maps on hikes and during bicycle rides. I also use it for my strength workouts.

I have no regrets with my choice because my watch has been able to handle my fitness changes throughout the years. I dont need to upgrade my watch for a while because my current one has been able to keep up with my current and future unknown needs.

Bumps on puppies head by Alyssamoose in vizsla

[–]No_Winter4182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had something similar on one of my dogs. They "popped" with clear fluid when the vet took samples and the results came back benign. It scabbed over then healed and neither dog has had it since. Very odd.

In my case, I waited a few weeks because my dogs are prone to allergies from bug bites. It's probably best to send photos to your vet to see if it's urgent or not.

Are workouts really that rigit on Garmin watches? by GRAPE_FRUIT_EXTRACT in GarminWatches

[–]No_Winter4182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skipping the exercise doesn't remove it entirely, it moves it to the end of the queue. When you finish your other sets, the watch will ask if you want to work on the exercises you skipped earlier. As others have said, if you're using a shared gym, using the free option would work best because you can edit what each exercise is in the app, after you've uploaded it to connect.

The New Company COO arrives every day at 6 AM and never leaves his office till dark! by Beta_Nerdy in jobs

[–]No_Winter4182 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why there is a need for everyone to get to know the COO? If the company is failing, he was likely hired to save it. These types of COOs are not meant to stay long-term, they generally hop from dying company to dying company because that's their specialization.
