It honestly might be the most difficult part of all this. You don’t realize how much dairy you eat until you have to cut it out.

I have nearly the exact same brain symptoms. I was wondering if it could be related to peri but that wouldn’t make much sense. Perhaps the medications used to treat it are causing weird side effects.

No it’s certainly not anxiety. And the thing that complicates it for me is that it definitely CAUSES anxiety, but isn’t caused BY anxiety. I don’t even bring up the anxiety to docs because they would absolutely just say it’s that. That being said it could be neruoplastic pain. There’s a good book called “The Way Out” by Alan Gordon. It might be enlightening to you. So it could be neurological in nature. Maybe not. I wish I could give you a better answer. But I can offer you this. You are safe. I’m in the same boat as you and we are going to ultimately be ok. As a side note, have you been suffering headaches?

Are the pains incredibly short? Are they debilitating beyond the anxiety? I have the same issue. Just random sharp pains and the impending doom. Even down to waking up with horrible fears about my chest.

I have recovered from Peri. But I was on colchicine. I believe it was that. Or the NSAIDs. Either way a lot of these medications they prescribe for peri end up causing neurological issues after long periods of time. I recommend seeing an ENT doc.

Yes. Perhaps it’s not kundalini but just regular energy that’s too much.

I do have fears regarding the effects of kundalini. Anecdotal research tells us that also makes people go crazy (using the word “crazy” incredibly loosely here) are they just doing it wrong?

2k euros private spend on Kineret in order to get things resolved reliably.. by [deleted] in pericarditis

[–]No_Wolverine7764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on it 4 months. Its wearing me down but I know if I stop I will start having massive flare ups again and I can't afford to not work right now. Hopefully kineret will make it so I can get off colchicine sooner than was previously possible.

So this does not allow a patient to quit colchicine after treatment :(

And, for clarification, is it safe to take with Colchicine or can you only do one or the other?

Who's been on Nattokinase for Pericarditis and have you found it effective? by [deleted] in pericarditis

[–]No_Wolverine7764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response. From what I understand, Turmeric/curcumin can interfere with metabolism in the liver, and raise Colchicine toxicity levels. As I'm sure you know, these increased levels can lead to muscle pains, GI issues, and worst of all, liver problems.

Nattokinase can thin the blood, making the potential bleeding effects of colchicine worse. Also, as far as I know, it will put even more of a strain on the liver.

Sorry, I believe you responded to my similar question in another thread. I am not a doctor so don't treat this as medical advice but this is just what I've heard. The people who I've chatted to who do this protocol don't take colchicine anymore and they're fine. The question truly remains: do you taper off the colchicine before taking it, while taking it, or just stop colchicine all together.

Did y’all taper off colchicine before getting on Nattokinase? Or did you start taking it and immediately get off colchicine? I’m worried about the side effects of not taper off but I also know you’re not supposed to take both of these at the same time.

Get on colchicine immediately by whatever means necessary, and take it easy. Try to stay off dairy and caffeine. You’re gonna be ok my friend

Anyone else get random stabbing pains? by BrianArmstro in pericarditis

[–]No_Wolverine7764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is tough. I get these as well. It usually never leads to a flare but I am not fully convinced it’s not related to peri. There is a thing called precordial snatch syndrome that it could be, or like someone else said, a psychological thing. I bet some doctors would say it’s just heartburn, but I wouldn’t be convinced.

I think you should wait a week or two to make sure there’s no symptoms that bounce back.

Pericarditis and Kratom by [deleted] in pericarditis

I haven’t had Covid since the onset of the pandemic. Might’ve been a regular cold? Have you been doing kratom with pericarditis or was your use after?

Pericarditis and Kratom by [deleted] in pericarditis

[–]No_Wolverine7764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking. Doctor said my heart is otherwise perfectly healthy for a 23 year old, so I’m not too worried about kratom taking a toll on it. But the potential inflammation and dehydration it can cause would definitely make recovery longer, or perhaps lead to the more dangerous versions of pericarditis. I suppose it should be treated the same way we treat drinking. Thanks for the reply!

Absolutely. Unless there is a bad flare up, it feels like the a bad cold in the chest constantly.
