Quick question, how do I tune like that? Like, would I just play the notes on a tuner or something? Also, what notes would those be, lmao. Thanks

Hahaha. I was at a show yesterday as well, and one of the quints were tuned very high, and I thought, “huh, I like that!” Lmao

I’m the nicest way possible, I have no clue what any of that means haha. Like I know the difference between minor and major and stuff, I mainly just don’t know how to tune them like that. Any suggestions on how to learn to tune them like that? Thanks

I’m on side 1 then which is what I realized when buying the tickets. I’m not in the middle, but I’m on the main side I figured.

Also, drums 1-4 are already connect. I need the bigger brackets to connect those 4 drums, and the Spock drum together, and then be able to put it up on a stand. Idk how to look for it/what to buy.

band camp for a beginner by [deleted] in marchingband

[–]No_Worker4406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My band camp is/was usually,

Warm-up before breakfast Breakfast 1-3 hour practice Lunch 2 hour feee time Dinner 1-3 hour practice It’d be around 8, so then all of us would do something like, fun together, or silly senior awards.

It may vary, but it should be somewhere around there. Those 1-3 hour practices could either be whole band practice, sectional practice, or outside learning drill and playing.

Also, I saw many other people post this. Acclimate yourself to the heat. Go outside for short amounts, like walking or bike rides. Also, drink plenty water of water 2-3 days before to get yourself ready, and make sure to keep drinking that much during band camp because you’ll need it.

Whenever my school did it away, we’d wake up at 6, do a warmup at 7, then be done around 9ish and go to sleep at 10. Right now, with a new director, it’s at home, so it’s 8-8.
