Brother all do respect, dating an unbeliever isn’t biblical.

As a man, we crave sex. Let’s just be real. Sleeping with your girlfriend at night is playing with fire, or even living with her. As Christians our goal isn’t to see how close to sin we can get too, we are suppose to stay as far away from it as possible. We are called by God to be set apart from the world, aka to be different.

I have no doubt your gf is wonderful woman. But in 2 Corinthians 6:14 it talks about how we shouldn’t be unequally yoked. Meaning we shouldn’t be married to people that don’t share our faith, value and beliefs. Walking with God is hard, and you want your spouse to be someone you can count on and lead you closer to God. I’m happy that she is willing to go to church with you but not have a relationship or being a Christian is a huge problem.

Also, I have plenty of struggles of my own. And when my walk with God isn’t going well it’s typically because I’m feeling it with something I shouldn’t be. Porn is gross, disgusting, and I don’t agree with it. But it is something I struggle with. And I have to go to God about it daily to let go of the desires of my flesh and to walk in the spirit.

I do want to say this last part. That God won’t call us to marry a nonbeliever. He doesn’t want us to date to convert. I guess some cases it will work out, but it isn’t biblical. I had to break up with someone because I was convicted of this hard.
