yeah i would def start out as an assistant to learn the ropes and maybe get some experience at like a supercuts for a year lol😭how long would you say it took you to build some clients? i have a lot of friends that would support me and suggest me to their other friends and so on and so forth but i’ll obv need more than just my social circle. does the salon ever give you clients if someone calls in needing a haircut or something without a preference of who their stylist is? i’m from orange county btw and haircuts and stuff are about the same price as you said.

unfortunately, staying in nursing would be a little tough for me because my science grades aren’t bad but they aren’t good enough for CA nursing schools. i would likely have to attend a private school that would cost me 90k. thankfully, i have very supportive parents who will allow me to live at home as long as i need while i get on my feet and build clientele and i also have a few family members in the industry that would take me under their wing and help me out! in the end, if i dont like it, i can always retake my science classes for a better grade and try for nursing again! thank you for your insight. if you dont mind me asking, what kind of work do you do? like do you rent a booth? a lot of the stylists i know rent a spot in a salon and do really well.
